Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

I've been a member of the board for 2 years now, and if it weren't for the tips and discussions raised here, I wouldn't think the same about life today. Thanks fellow successful Don Juan's...

First off, if you want to date in high school, do it at your own risk. Ask yourself, is it really worth all the effort? I'm mean come on...you should work towards grades instead of spending time and money on some confused girl who doesn't know what she wants out of life. I can say this because I was once in high school. But after you move on to college, things are much different. Oh...and another thing, if you don't go to college, you are a moron...

I graduated mid-year from high school, then started my second semester at my community college. I've already met many new faces and have gotten a girl's number.

One thing to note, be confident and laid back when getting a number, just say "Hey so and so, what's your number" or better yet "Why don't you give me your number"...etc

Don't take things to seriously at first, don't over analyze the way women react, and don't try to think to much about how you did. If you make mistakes, so what, you are human and that is what you do...

If you are a little nervous at first, just restore yourself later and don't become a wipping boy or emmotional tampon (i.e. douche bag who spends lots of money on a girl or talks to her to much and swoons over her like a lost puppy).

I set up a date with this girl a week from now. This shows that you are not trying to rush things. That is the biggest point I want to make...DON'T RUSH ANYTHING! Patience is the key when it comes to many things in life. If you set expectations, and can't meet them, this creates stress...and I'm sure we all know what stress does to a person.

End rant...

p.s. I still have to follow through with the date, but half the trouble is already over...

I'll keep you posted.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

ya, and just keep yourself busy to keep your cool. If you find yourself thinking about her too much go to do some homework or something, read book, or hang out with other people and concentrate on them. Also it's ok to be nervous around girls once in awhile....back when i had my anxiety i was nervous all the time aruond this one girl who had a crush on me but her interest level remained high because she knew i was a good catch from the little tidbits of personality i portrayed to her and other people i WASN"Tnervous around. SHe asked me out a couple of times with her and her friends but i declined cus i was sorta pals with their boyfriends and i couldn't do that to guys i respected (and they probably coulda taken me)

Dunno about setting up a date that far off. I usually do it the next day or the next couple of days. Unless the both of you are business or professional people where being on the time counts.

Dating in high school and stuff is a lot different than dating in the 20s, its more fun and experimental but at least you get the experience rather than wait till later.

Also, I find it very strange seeing anyone under 18 in these forums, please stay in the high school forum ?

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
