There never is really a "crisis"....but come on guys..I don't know about you, but I'm planning MY mid-life crisis.STR8UP said:My point was-
If you've ALWAYS driven a sports car and banged younger women, then there is no "transition", thus there was no "crisis".
It's going to be something great.
A mid-life crisis is a gift we give ourselves, and we have an excuse, that society seems to accept.
Yes...we should be able to do whatever we want, but...whether we admit it, or not, outside influences do affect our choices in life. Be it family, friends, work, etc.
A mid-life crisis is a way of saying "fvck it all", I'm doing something bold, I'm living MY dream.
And...society accepts this! Society says...you must establish a career, you must obtain wealth, you must follow the laws we dictate...you must sacrifice yourself for your family, you must be married, etc...etc.
I say....fvck society in the @ss. They say we can have "one" mid-life crisis, I say we have as many as we want.
I say, let's make our mid-life crisis, something that will shake the ground we walk on.
Let's not waste our mid-life crisis...this is something we should be planning for awhile. Don't waste it.
