Hey guys. I've recently decided to cut some pounds in order to bring out my six pack more. I've already got plenty of muscle, but the problem is that i've got plenty of fat as well

I'm 5 '10"

I started out at 220 Lbs.

From cutting Calories I got down to 207.5. Yay me! only took about 3 weeks

But the problem is that i still don't see any results! I don't know where the weight came from, but it's obviously not my stomach region

I would prefer to stay at or above 200, but i think i might not see anything unless i go down to a light weight 180 or something like that.

Spot reducing is impossible I know, but is there anyway to kinda cure this stubborn fat problem?

I am exactly your size. Tell you the truth, I've gotten from 200 down to 180 twice in my life (attempting to do it for the third time right now). The first time, I was working on a paving crew, doing manual labor in the 100+ temperatures, 11 hours a day, for a summer, while eating cereal for breakfast, a sandwich for lunch (maybe some fruit too) and a regular dinner of different things.

The second time, I really watched what I ate, concentrated on protein and less of the crap carbs, and was running 2-3 miles 3 times a week, lifting weights the other days.

To stay at 200 and have a six pack, you're going to have to get REAL serious about weights and diet. Otherwise, you'll have to lose the pounds.

There's no magic wand to swing here, pal.

yes there is, you have to burn more calories than you consume, while continuing to exercise moderately to stay in shape, this will reduce your overall body fat, eventually it will have to disappear from the stomach.
It may be that you naturally store fat there. Im the same height as you but lean, 150lb and trying to gain weight. I store fat on my belly and inner thighs, people are different.

Weight training can help immensely because it burns calories directly in doing the lifting, and also builds muscle. More muscle=more calories burned every day, even while you sleep.

You say you want to stay above 200lbs, fair enough, that means you have to replace fat with muscle. Luckily muscle weighs a lot more than fat, but to be 200lbs with no/little body fat you will have to pack the muscle on. Or accept that you are going to be lighter than 200lb. Why are you so keen on staying that heavy?

It's just something I would prefer.

also, my girl is 175 (Mostly Muscle, plus she's 5'8") . I don't really want to be the same size as her. I prefer being bigger than she is. which is also something she finds as a turn on because a lot of guys she's dated are the same size as her or smaller.

but besides that. I've grown to like being bigger and would prefer to keep some size on me

I think you guys are right. i do tend to store fat in my belly because the rest of my body is pretty well defined and i'm very satisfied with it, but i can't seem to lose my little belly

I don't have a big beer gut or anything (don't drink) but it's just enough fat there for it to stick out a little and for it to cover my abs.

That's a better reason for bulking up than most imo. That girl sounds like a beast, do you have to wear sparring head gear in the sack?

I can see this is gonna take a while lol

The weight seems to have come off my Legs and butt instead. My legs are already big and now they just look more cut

lol I'm moving on forward though. I changed up the diet a bit too, more protein and less junk food.

and yea mintxx, she is a beast (she used to play Basketball and run track) and she is sexy as hell too. her she doesn't look as heavy as she is, but she's just really tonned with fat in the right places

EVERYONE no matter who you are unless you are starving yourself for a competition and on drugs will always have a small pocket of fat at the lower front mid section. Keep that in mind.

A tiny bit of honey daily can help to burn fat but don't try living by it. Just give it some more time dude,I'm sure you will see some results in the abdominal region shortly.

lol update!

I'm now down to 201.5

I still don't see much noticable difference in the belly area, but everywhere else I can see something I suppose...

almost 20 pounds later and I still am not seeing much. I'm gonna be a stick before i'm through :(
