"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Ok guys, any of you experience this before and how did u deal with it?

This girl I met the other night and I went on a date with her the other day. The trouble is, this girl is afraid to look at me unless she is right up in my face, like real close eye to eye contact. Other than that, she will turn her head so I cant make eye contact, or look around. Its real weird behaviour. I asked her whats up and if she is scared to look at me. Then I made a joke about it telling her she was intimidated by me cause Im too pretty for her, lol, but it didnt go down to well.

I tried to get her to go for coffee, so I could sit infront of her in a normal relaxed manner, but instead she insisted we go to the movies and then to a ****tail place. All of which she will be able to sit next to me so she can again have close eye contact. It is like she does not want me to view her entire face clearly from a reasonable distance (like a couple of metres), although she is absolutely stunning so I cant see her problem..............anyone experience this before? I am guessing probably not as I have dated close to 100 girls now and have NEVER had a girl like this before, really weird behaviour , althouh I must admit, it somehow intregues me.....

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Yep that is strange, sounds as if perhaps she is extremely shy or has esteem issues. Can she look you in the eye?

Yeah, self esteem issues is what I put it down too. Although when I was first checking her out, she was looking at me comfortably from a few metres away. Its just like a reasonably close distance she is uncomfortable with. She gives me a lot of eye contact, but its too damn close. Like a few centimetres from my face, I am like WTF. Get out of my space. But I cant say anything. Any ideas on how to approach it?

Nyways, going out with her in a couple of days, so I will see how it goes. Weird a chick like that has esteem issues...........

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
I don't know if it's a good idea to use neghits on a girl with esteem issues.

What do you mean she gives you eye contact "up close?" Like when you're being intimate/about to make out? Or is she up in your face all the time??

Yes, a girl I briefly dated who was quite a stunner. The difference is that she hardly made eye contact even up close. I mistook this as being stuck up and lack of interest so I nexted her. Then I found out that she was very attracted to me and was crushed that I dumped her.

In your situation as in mine, she could be naturally shy or somehow intimidated. The key I believe is to act in a way that causes her to open up with you. I think neg hits are not appropriate. Just act cool, tell her jokes, tease, act playful, tickle. Pretend that you are dealing with a shy little girl.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

squirrels - yes, she is up in my face all the time. Not in a confronting manner, because she always stands on the side of me. Like she will find a place to sit or stand where we can be next to eachother, up against a wall etc. VERY WEIRD!! And yes, a lot of the time she was very intimate, like making out, or trying to bite my chin (weird sh*t like that). When we walk somewhere, she tries to jump on my back, or make me hold her from behind, or she grabs my hand and walks real fast, its like she is just trying to hide her face. Or when we went to get a drink, she stood with her hair over the side of her face, so I couldnt see her, LOL!

sapphire - I think you are deinately right. I know she is keen as she PICKED ME UP! And she messages my phone all the time, even when I dont answer back, she will message again a few hours later. I have only seen her twice, so this time I will make it longer and go to the bathroom or something and then come out and sit in a chair infront of her!! lol, will be interesting to see her reaction. Its real real strange though, its as if she is hiding her face from me for some strange reason, like she has a deformaty, although there is absolutely no feature that is not in perfect proportion. I seriously wonder if maybe her hair is covering up part of her face that has something wrong with it, like a giant birth mark or something, but then again I know (well dont know, but have seen around), a couple of guys who have dated her for a long period of time and these guys are the absolute vain of the vain. So I think it just boils down to pure insecurity.
