My reference point is limited but I have notice that of the straight guys I have known that own cats, their game is super tight. It is like they are a dangerous mix of DGAF since traditionally, a straight guy owning a cat is weird. On the other hand, they also read subtle cues a lot better.

There is something about straight dudes that own cats that makes their game tight.

I have never owned a cat. Dudes who have owned a cat, do you all notice that your game has gotten tighter as a result?

I've noticed dudes who are running game and live in a place of higher altitude above sea level have much tighter game than guys who live at or below sea level in beach towns.

Seeing that every other woman he's run across prior to her is still breathing, and in possession of all her limbs, lets a gal know that not having drawn up her last and will testament just yet won't be a problem

I've noticed that guys who drive cars that have fuel filler caps on the right hand side of the vehicle have much tighter game than guys driving cars with left hand side caps. Anyone else notice this?

I wouldn't know, because I had cats my life, even when I lived in a student room of 12 square meters. No woman ever thought it was weird that I have cats, they seem to think I'm half-tomcat myself.

I do notice that I get approached more in public by women when my cat is riding my shoulder, but I also got more attention for wearing an eyepatch. I do get photographed more.

Though I do think it says something for a guy to own a cat who isn't a simp since that's probably quite rare.

The bike is not really a specialty bike, but usually these cargo bikes have a wooden / plastic cargo area.

I bought this modified cargo bike from a guy who buys up old shopping trollies and fixes them to the frame. I use it mostly to haul groceries and rickshaw for my daughter and girlfriends around town. The shopping trolley conversion makes my bike stand out in the sea of other cargo bikes in Amsterdam and the trolley is both sturdier and less affected by rainfall (the mat inside rolls up and the rain goes straight through the trolley onto the ground).

I think it struck me as a speciality bike because as Flex noted, it's not commonplace within the larger metro city in Canada I used to live in. Cultural differences.

The closest analogue I've seen infrequently might be a bike which has a pseudo-stroller attached to the front for toddlers to ride in with a parent.

My cat goes with me everywhere except hospital wards and dentist offices. He's not just a pet, but also a therapy cat, so he has a special status regarding his presence in supermarkets, restaurants and other places that are supposed to be pet-free.

He can handle most types of weather (Maine Coons don't care about cold or rain), but I mostly leave him home when the weather is too hot for him.

Right, I had wondered if he went to your therapy workplace.

Does your cat not meander too far away from you when you're in public?

I adopted a kitten 4 years ago and live with her on my own. The girls who I invite over love her, but I think that by the time I'm able to get them into my home, it's a moot point. I've actually had multiple instances when the girl asks if she can come "see my cat."

That being said, all other single dudes I know that have cats are a bit awkward and nerdy.

The US is a vast landscape that contains a diverse range of geography and climates seen around most of the world, but every single state and city has the exact same design. I disagree with the assertion that straight guys owning cats is weird. Cats are awesome creatures.

Cats are stoic IDGAF alphas. I get why dudes wouldn't want one. They're not as loyal as dogs. And I'd definitely get a dog if they didn't smell like **** and I'd have to walk them every day. I like cats because they're low maintenance.

They get a bad rep because it seems that the majority of people who own them are usually soyboys or feminist leaning chicks with green hair.

Amsterdam was designed for pedestrians and horses / horse carriages and later horse drawn trams. Everything is close together and it's definitely easier to walk or bike through the city than ride anything on four wheels.

So were many American cities, people forget what our cities looked like prior to WW2

I know of two guys that have/had cats. One of them is a bluepiller of sorts, the other mentioned that he liked a girl that was texting me while we were hanging out, (I stepped aside out of courtesy, but I wouldnt call that tight game).

No, he's on a leash. He mostly rides my shoulder, but close to my home where he knows the way he likes to walk. At places I sit, like cafes and restaurants, he mostly sits on the table or a barstool or even a child seat.

Here in the US, that's what they call animals so they are allowed to bring them into public places.

Sure, Flex, that's why urban bicycling is so popular in the States.

Our cities were built around trams, carriages, and pedestrians, just like anywhere else in the world and functioned until the 1930s. The only reason no one bikes or walks nowadays because big car companies lobbied to make cars based travel the only viable option. Many cities don't have have bike lanes or sidewalks, it's comical.
