We learn from our past mistakes, and looking back I've made quite a few. So why don't we all post some stories of failure and laugh at why, for whatever reason, we didn't seal the deal. Maybe we'll all learn something and remember this post when we're in a similar situation. There's one that sticks out in my mind as a complete failure.
I was at a party that was semi-sausage fest, seeing as how there were like 5 girls, 20 guys. Those are the worst, because you get 15 guys going after 1 girl; there's a competition, and fates can change quickly. I invested time in this party to this one certain girl I thought would be a nice fit for my ****. I wasn't really trying too hard, just dropping hints when I chatted with her in the basement.
Anyway, I left to see what was going on upstairs, took a seat in the living room couch, and who should follow but the girl I was just hitting on. My arm was already extended, she sat into it, it was all good. I had her worked up for a good hour or two; we smoked a bong, went back downstairs, took a few pictures of me and her and my friend and her friend, and then about a half hour later a friend of mine swoops in and takes her right off my hands. Basically, I got her horny and worked up, we were all drunk, my friend came in and took her.
My problem that night? Isolation. I took far too long to isolate this girl, and thus got served by my friend. The worst part about it was I had just neatly trimmed my hair (it went from halfway down my back to shaved) was feeling confident and pretty laid back and was slowly reeling this girl in. But my more experienced friend ****ed me over. He hits that **** every day now, since they're going out.
Funny thing is, they both went upstairs together that night, and my friend left real early, like 6 o' clock early. This girl tried getting my attention in the morning, following me when I brought the conversation to another room, but I didn't want to talk to her, didn't want anything from her. She made a firm decision to ditch me so its not like I'm gonna go in for sloppy seconds and go right back to her. She said "Nice to meet you" and gave me a hug when she was leaving, but I didn't hug her back and just said "Yea, whatever." I don't need girls like that ****ing with me. She didn't deserve my attention the next day, and I didn't give it to her.
Anyone else have any stories of failure they've learned from?
