"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

hi all, well just broke up with g/f...the last few weeks I have

been talking to this little hottie on the internet. She is 20, and I'm 28.
I asked her if she

would like to meet up for coffee sometime. at first she said, well i

dont know...i dont usually do that sort of thing with random guys

on the net. I said well, that's cool i dont blame ya, and changed

the subject. The next day she said that she changed her mind

and wanted to meet up. One week later i suggested we meet up

on a wed. (giving her 2 days notice)...she agrees etc etc. . So she

give me her number and says to call her that night. I do and she

sounds all rushed and stuff....we decide to meet somewhere, and

just as i'm on my way out the door she calls and asks if we can

do itsome other time. SURE NO PROB i say. Next day she calls and

says she is going to bed and can we meet up tommorow (sat). I

say thats cool........Question.....should i call her or let her call

me.....i dont want her to get the wrong idea of me you know, that

i put up with broken dates right off the bat.......

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

hi

I think you should definitely let her call you. If you call you'll never know how she really feels and it makes you look too eager.

Let her call you, and when she does, tell her you have a pretty packed day but a few hours at a given time. This will make you look like you are busy and plus you won't have to worry how long the date should last.

Nothing worst than a first date that seems to last too long a time.

ciao,
pel

I'd back off and let her come to you at this point. She seems to have low interest level.
