im going out on friday with a girl from school who i know, at least had a crush on me. im not sure but ive heard she had a boyfriend, not serious though. My question is how would i find out if shes just going out with me as a friend or if she wants more. Should i just openly ask her or is there an alternative, i dont want to scare her off.

but should i continue as if this were a date or just friends going out. How could i find out without making her feel uncomfortable

if she has not said to you she has a boyfriend, either ask her or go for th kiss, the choice is yours. Dont worry about getting rejected its all a learning experiance.
