Sad thing is, there's a great many people like him (you wouldn't know they lifted weights if you saw them outside of a gym) in the US and the UK. Most people who are 'on' don't even know what they're doing.

He won't keep any of the muscle he may gain once he cycles off.

He won't know how to keep it.

I wish it was that easy to get gear in Australia, customs are to strict. Our bodybuilders have to move overseas.

I've never believed in supplements or anything artificial. My friend was on steroids and he became unbelievably buff in such a short time. He broke his arm and wasn't able to work out for a month, he lost all of it in the same amount of time that he gained it.

Proper use of steroids with balanced diet after years of training are not a waste of time. They can have many positive effects. Unfortunately, people abuse them and use them because they are looking for a quick fix.

Anyone who knows anything about weightlifting (like Mark Rippetoe and Bill Starr, for example) will tell you that the first thing a 6'1 sub 140lb adult male needs to do isn't steroids; it is work on a muscle and weight building diet and a compound-heavy weight lifting routine. He didn't have that, and still doesn't have that, so any gains he makes will quickly come off once he comes off the steroids.

I watched a few of the episodes and after watching a few I'm convinced that it is a satire and/or presented in a way to truly show how bad steroids can be for your long term health.
