I seem to get this predominantly from girls who don't seem interested because they never truly "stay in touch." Now when I get this, I read it as "I'm not really interested in you, but I'm going to let you down easy." It is a real cop out term because it shows no real committment to me.

So I guess my question is what are other people's experience with the term "stay in touch." Am I on to something or am I just overanalyzing?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Depends how and when they say it. Sometimes it's a good thing.

Yeah, I think it's a good indication of interest. It's better than 'see you around' for instance. They are asking you to contact them.
