Monday- Squats
Wed- Bench & Rows
Friday- Deadlift
MONDAY-
So I went into the gym today feeling pretty damn good. An experienced huge 45 year old powerlifter was benching like 330 lbs was in there today and i made friends with him after he commented on my Ronnie Coleman "Light Weight Baby shirt". I helped him bench and he made sure I squated deep.
1x315 PR - Felt great, very deep!
1x330 PR - Still good. Got a little stuck but nothing i couldn't handle
1x345 PR- Very deep and it was a very tough battle...the powerlifter commented that it was exceptionally deep and he was impressed how well I handled it. He made me feel really good about myself, I made sure to compliment him when he benched
Today was awesome and i did far more than i thought i could, and my a$$ was a couple inches from the ground. I know its not a lot of weight compared professionals/people who have lifted a long time but I was pleased with myself today.
