"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Hi, I'm new to Plate Theory, having just read about it in "The Rational Male" and I was wondering: When you're spinning plates, do you insist that your women date and sleep with you exclusively, or do you tell them that since you're spinning plates it's OK for them to spin too? I've looked for an answer to this obvious question but so far I haven't seen anyone discuss it.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I never bring it up unless they do. If she isn't your GF she can do whatever she wants and it shouldn't bother you.

In a perfect world you should be spinning plates that check most of the boxes as LTR prospects. I would never offer to them that you are actively seeing other women. I wouldn't deny it if asked.

Think of spinning plates as test driving with a full tank of gas and no specific time to bring the vehicle back.

Spinning plates is not a bunch of one night stands. Its more so several different relationships and you see multiple women unless one really separates herself as clear LTR potential. In essence you are stringing them along with the LTR potential carrot in front of them. I imply through actions that its not cool to be seeing other people but its never said.

If I find out they are seeing others, I just ghost them and vanish. Silence and distance.

Hope this helps

of course not bro its all NSA. (no strings attached). men and women both spin plates. why would u expect exclusivity, why even bring it up? spinning plates is for people who aren't looking for anything serious and want to have fun and have sex with different partners

You cannot insist on anything outside your own boundary.

In what context would you be having these conversations with women? You wouldn't so don't. You are not obliged to answer stupid questions from women or anybody. You want to drive women up the wall? Never (or rarely) answer their questions directly. This is a trick from politicians: sometimes (always?) Journalists or whoever will ask dumb/leading questions and rather than get defensive and say that is a dumb/leading question I'm not answering it. They will answer the question that they feel the journalist should have asked...........it's a good way to control the frame of the conversation.

With plate spinning you need to practice the art of detachment. Detach from the outcome. Keep a buffer between you (your emotions etc) and your PROSPECTS / PLATES /. Paul Janka used the metaphor of a bicycle wheel : you are the hub and the women are the wheel spinning around you. The spokes are the (emotional) distance you keep.

You are completely autonomous and keep your own counsel. A sovereign man.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
