"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

So I love watching Millionaire Matchmaker to see what NOT to do with women. But in the second season's episode 10 (S02E10), about 32 minutes in, I spotted the first time I've ever seen (and heard) a Speed Seduction weasel phrase & embedded command used on TV.

"Zagros," one of the "millionaires," and some chick are in a helicopter on their first date. He busts out some classic speed seduction, with the pauses and everything:

"You know that feeling you get... when you first.. start to feel.. absolutely connected.. to the person you're with."

They immediately start making out in the 'copter and they go on to screw before they're "supposed" to. Interestingly, from her recounting of the incident, after they were done she tried to make it ok by hitting him up for money ("Do you like spoiling women?"). The show attracts gold diggers for sure, but the central commandment of a true gold digger is: don't give up the p*ssy until AFTER you've gotten at least some gold. So I think he entranced her, she put out, and then the trance broke because he basically used her as a pump and dump, she realized this suddenly and tried to make it feel like she was at least going to get something monetarily for it. He, of course, refused ("I like it when women spoil me.")

Check out her recounting of the incident in the 38th minute.

I don't really want to get into a discussion about the show in this thread, but I thought it was interesting to see Speed Seduction and NLP used in "real life."

I used to study speed seduction and made quite good use of it a loooong time ago (first tried it when I was 19). But it's somewhat difficult because you can't really relax into the conversation.. you always need to be "on" to come up with lines like the above.

Anybody else see any NLP or speed seduction used anywhere.. TV or otherwise? I'd be extremely surprised if so.
