Sosuave Works?

So I had mentioned earlier that many of my friends who are successful with women use the DJ Tricks without even knowing it. Which makes sense because a lot of it is confidence, dressing well, Fitness, and so on. But lately, I’ve had this voice in the back of my head that’s been like “You can’t learn game from the internet or PUA, that’s super lame.” But at the same time, I love how this site is like a road map to success. Any tips on killing this voice?

Just remember no one care how the sausages are made, just how they taste. Women don't care about the journey you took and the lonely nights if they find you sexy. As lame as you may think it is it works and for most guys this is their best shot at giving themselves the permission to live the life they want. Most guys won't get this chance or choose ignorance but once you get a little further down the rabbit hole there's no turning back.

OP, the timing for this question could not have been any better. In recent months there seem to be a lot of people posting on here who clearly do not understand the purpose of SoSuave what so ever.

SoSuave is NOT here to:

- Be a channel release your aggression by making personal attacks on other members who have posted advise and experiences that sound better than your own.

- Be a place to go just like how women go to Facebook and see if you can get more likes than anyone else

- Be a place that ONLY focuses on getting laid, the PUA game, and ONLY landing women who are HB9-10s

- Be a team of moderators running a dictatorship who are alpha male Gods and only are moderators because they have picked up more women or better women than everyone else here.

SoSuave IS here to:

- Vent about your problems in life

- Read success stories other men have posted, then get out there, apply them to your own life/situation as fitting, and see if they work or don't work

- Make every post count by making quality posts where you share your experiences with women and in life, both successes and failures, so that they benefit other men here in some way, which in turn will get you more likes

- Be an all encompassing support site for men where women and getting laid and PUA is a HUGE part of it, but it's not everything. Other areas in life such as work, family, friends, fitness, diet, finances, etc. are important too.

- Respect the rules of the forum and the moderators, but also realize that the moderators are regular members here too just trying to do a little extra job to give back to SoSuave because of all the good they have gained from it over the years.

You can’t learn game from the internet or PUA

In a sense, that voice is correct. All of game falls under the umbrella of "social skills" which are skills, and as such they require PRACTICE.

The internet is useless if you don't try anything out in real life.

Most people use sosuave to either covertly brag about their success, or covertly look for validation for their excuses.

Just understand that improving your game (social skills, self confidence, communication skills) takes a FVCKTON of practice.

Think of sosuave as a recipe book for when learning how to cook, or a music book when learning the piano.

I grew up before the internet became commonplace, and I can tell you that most of the tips you read here long predate the seduction community. Not all, but most. Also, a lot of pickup material has made it into the mainstream to some extent or other. So IMO, the kind of advice given here is a lot more well known than most people think.

The seduction stuff is all right, but I tend to think of SoSuave as a male support group. A men's forum, to discuss male things. Being men, of course we are going to discuss women quite a bit. I kind of wish SoSuave were named something else, to be honest - to make it look less like a place that guys come to find out how to get women. But I'm sure it probably wouldn't be as popular if that were the case.

I know a lot of lads who can initially get the woman, but how many men do you know of who are verbally abusive to a woman when she cause him problems!! She pushes him a little!! Id say nearly all of them!.............. i see it all the time.....theyve lost then

True story - guy goes to a job interview and just nails the interview. After he leaves, his two interviewers, both women, agree that they are going to give him the job. Then the phone rings. Apparently, the guy had called the business at which he was interviewing before his interview. The call they got afterward was an accidental one from him, a butt dial. And he happened to be screaming bloody murder at his wife, calling her every name in the world and threatening her. They listened to him on speakerphone for a bit, then hung up. Sh*t I don't even know how long ago it was but I picked up this book called "the system" by doc love. Maybe 20 yrs ago?
I thought the same thing you did! Really I have to learn game through a damn book. Ha!

I really like the analogies you guys are giving. I have read the whole DJ Bible and the Book of Pook, and I 100% agree with everything in there. Every mistake I ever made, every success I’ve ever had or seen, it’s all in there. I’m still working on killing my negative thoughts and this is one of them. Oh and don’t worry, I plan on surpassing these “naturals” one day too

I learn home repair and tennis from YouTube. I just won the finals in my grade at tennis and my house hasn't fallen down yet. One thing I would say is focus on your blockers and use the search. And the only useful thing I got frqom David De Angelo is his one default thing. When you start out have one default way to approach, one way to ask for the number, handle **** tests etc. That way when your brain freezes you have a fallback.

It's a case of reframing negative beliefs or beliefs that no longer serve you.

Write down any thoughts like that, cross them out and rewrite them...

Then simply over-ride the negative belief when it popps into your head with the reframe.

Like spotting a virus in the software of your mind. Shut it down with a reframe.
