"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I know we get angry at ourselves for "blown" opportunities, but sometimes due to the time constraint or context of the situation; I think it is impossible sometimes for something to come out of an encounter with a woman.

I had one happen to me the other day in Dunkin Donuts and I am sure some of you can relate.

I buy my coffee and proceed to milk/sugar section.

Young girl (early to mid 20's)....looks to her left as I approach and gives me a little smile (she was also at same station). I am 36, BTW, but look 30. :cheer:

I don't say anything to her in those five seconds (what could I say)?

She walks out and I walk out behind her.

She holds the door open for me twice, I say "thanks and thanks again". Each time she held the door open she looked back at me and smiled.

She goes to her car and I go to mine, end of story.

Now, even If I said something like..".Hmmm, weather is cloudy, windy today" to her or something else, even if she found me attractive, she would of just laughed and said yeah and got into her car and drove off. End of Story.

If I ran up to her and said, "Hi, my name is so and so"--I would of looked like a desperate freak.

So in short, this girl found me attractive it seems based on her smiling, but the time we had to interact was way too short for anything to come out of it.

Agree of disagree?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

totally disagree.

you had ample time to say 'Hi, how u doin?'

the response you got from that would have told you all you needed to know.

if she liked you she would have continued the chat.. if she didn't, she wouldn't. end of.

Agreed, happens all the time. To pick up every single girl you ever meet in every situation is a myth sung by the PUA community to get you to buy their never ending techniques to do so. And you're right, it does reek of desperation. If you were at a party and this situation arose, by all means, you gotta roll with it. She's cute, she's giving you smiles, you start a convo. But in a Dunkin Donuts where everyone's in and out, car's waiting, maybe a bf in it, you gotta let it go. Just be happy some cute chick found you attractive.

Okay, I agree with you there, but........

Even if I said that....this girl DOES NOT know me, I am a stranger. We might of talked for 30 seconds as she went through the door and to her car, but how do you get a phone number when you only talked to a girl for 30 seconds, 1 minute, etc. It is wierd!

yeah, that's kool and the gang, but the fact remains you never did talk to her so you will never know and that is my point.

you're never going to close with every girl you approach and that's just life. but if you're going with the mindset that you're not going to close because of this and that then you're not going to approach and thus....you're never going to close. capisce?

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

if she liked you enough she might've stayed and talked with you for like 10 minutes outside of her car instead of leaving immediately

Can't count how many times this has happened to me, and I always kick myself after. Gotta remember that if she finds you attractive she'd most likely be happy to have a quick convo. If she doesn't then she'll think you're a creep and just leave.

disagree totally. Your confidence is not high at the moment is all. If you want something you go for it.excuses are just that. excuses. What stopped you from saying "hi/ excuse me" and then just talking casually. That would have taken you miles forward towards ur desired goal...

Well of course it's impossible to close if you're not even going to approach.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
