“The 22 Psychological Triggers That Make Women Chase You… Starting Tonight”

Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.

I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules.  Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.

While surfing the net i accidently came across an article claiming that romance isn't real its just a trick nature plays to ensure procreation. Ever since then ive been really bothered by it. Whenever i see an attractive girl, i start asking myself questions, like is this attraction im feeling toward her even real, am i being tricked by nature? It kind of makes me feel bad about talking to girls now. What are your opinions on it, does it change your view on interactions with girls, do you think its true? A few friends of mine told me most things in science are just theroies so that calmed me down a bit, but i don't know it sounds crazy.

Your friends are like most people.

They can't handle truth and reality so instead turn either to distractions or outright magical thinking (which is why religion and various fantasies are so popular).

What you read is correct.

Our only logical purpose on earth is to procreate and advance the species.

Evolution has utilized many tricks to get us to do this.

It doesn't mean you have to look at this as depressing.

Simply embrace this reality and be glad you now have an understanding and control over it.

I mean you don't have to procreate if you don't want to since we now have condoms and birth control to thwart nature's intention and give ourselves a bit of a choice in the matter.

Enjoy illusion and escapism and the pleasures and rest it brings you at times just don't believe it as truth.

Accept reality and use it to your advantage rather than letting reality shock you and scare you into some hole of denial, disbelief and discouragement.

I don't get the supposed difference between "real" and "trick by nature".
What do you mean by real? Given to you by a higher spirit or something?
Of course it's nature that makes you horny when seeing an attractive chick. What's wrong with it. Enjoy your instincts, they keep you in touch with your wild ancestors, even if you surf the internet all day and eat at pizza hut.

BTW evolution is a funny thing by itself. As we all know it hurts like **** when we get hit in the nuts. Did you ever think about that's probably only because every branch of evolution that hadn't such sensitive balls didn't protect them enough and therefore became extinct?

How the heck can you get tricked by your natural instincts? That doesn't make any sense. Of course nature wants us to have sex and reproduce.

BTW the whole concept of relationships isn't natural. As men we have the natural desire to spread our seed. Which basically means to have a lot of kids, with different women.

Don't try to fight your animal instinct and keep chasing girls.

just because there's a biological explanation for it doesn't make it meaningless

and humans have an evolved self-consciousness that transcends the predictability of nature. reframing human behavior in terms of everything that we do is to ensure procreation doesn't fully do it justice

Very true. Keep in mind, every physical particle in the universe is made up of some kind of energy. Matter and energy are interchangeable. And if you read up on super string theory, for example, it really makes the existence of a soul seem possible. I find that to be quite comforting.

Go watch "What the Bleep Do We Know?":http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FpCSk7WC4GI

'What the bleep' is a piece of trash. With no credible scientific backing buy any physicist except that one guy (can't remember his name) who tried to sue the produces for misrepresenting him.

Yeah, "that one guy"... I remember him.

Anyways, there were a fair amount of flaws in that film, I agree. However, there are quite a few interesting possibilities as well. I have a hard time trying to believe that the only reason why we 'exist' is merely to continue our 'existence'. Especially when our existence is temporal. It just doesn't make any logical sense to me on any level that this is all there is. Plus, you cannot dispute what I said about matter and energy. There is a deeper meaning to our existence, I believe, and science can't answer the question of what it is... yet.

'Tricked' by nature? Does nature have a conciousness, is it capable of 'tricking' you? If you thought atraction was something other than a feeling caused by a chemical reaction, what did you think it was?

Well there was only one physicist in the whole film and he was Horrified with the edited version of his interview. the other "scientist" were members of the Ramtha cult. The funding for the film also came from that cult.

edit: his name is Richard Dawkins

Wolf, relax... I'm not trying to make you join a "Ramtha" cult, whatever the **** that is. And the topic here has nothing to do with who made the movie, either. It isn't even about the ****ING MOVIE! You know, I was also talking about super string theory... something they never spoke of in that film (it's been about three years since I've actually seen it, but I don't remember them talking about it).

All that said, I STILL think it was a pretty interesting film. It made me think about, and question alot of things in life.

I'd rather we not take this any further off topic. If you have any links with information about what you are saying, I would love to read them if you'll PM me. Thanks.

Superstring theory is about combining general relativity with quantum physics and extra dimensions. New age hippies have tried to use this supper combined theory as a proof of the existence of a spirit.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

You are talking about an energy that holds all reality together(in theory)... what else could you really call it?

...this is really going off topic. If I go on, the mods will just delete it because we are starting to talk about spiritual ideals and religious concepts.

Pfft it's not off topic, his question is basically a question of science vs spirituality (not religion). I'm not against spiritually at all, I'm just against trying to mix the two.

To me, some people just can't handle a purely scientific view of the world (the OP) because for millions of years we have only lived spiritually, we have basically evolved to operate smoothly with a believe of a purpose and something more. To think otherwise is against our nature as humans.
That's why finding ones spirituality can be an amazing experience, the same sort of experience some get just camping under the stars. Because you're going back to what your body has been designed to do and you can become more fulfilled and happy because of it.

What else could you call it?
You're not supposed to call it anything else, it's just energy and Hawking once said it came from the fifth dimension via the big bang. And that it's pretty much physically impossible for our minds to fathom anything beyond the 4th dimension.

The only "trick" worth being upset about is the distortion of romance... our uncanny ability to misplace and confuse what it's really about.

It is not infatuation. It is not a set of tits with legs. And it doesn't belong to any one person.

Real romance is built on mutual LOVE.

When you truly love yourself and can share this with someone you admire (who fully appreciates how AWESOME you are) then why shouldn't you feel all giddy and romantic?

Contrary to what some would have you believe, Nature is not a merry prankster, having a laugh at our expense. If it could talk, I believe that love and romance would be it's primary dialect ... so would chaos and change and all the other things that make life interesting and worth living for.

It's all about balance folks. The blind romantic is no more enlightened than the hardened cynic. The sweet spot lies on the middle path, which is paved by our own discernment and and better judgement!

Only by walking this path will we become immune to all the contrived hollywood BS and really understand what true romance is about.

This is the trouble with viewing everything with pure evolutionary/biological views. It is very nihilistic. It reduces or even destories the meaning and value of so many things. Nihilism and Surrealism art is rooted with the scientific discoveries and sense of disillusionment of the the past 20th century.

I like KontrollerX but I honestly do not wish for that to be the first reply. I have to admit that in the evolutionary perspective, the purpose is to basically to survive and reproduce. However, in me, I disagree with the premise of all of life is just to live out the evolutionary-biological purpose.

In that view, not just romanticism and attraction to girls seems hollow, but everything does. Why care about friends? Why bother living? Why bother pursuing any dream or having any ambitions? After all, we're just an upgraded version of an ape whose programming is still just to replicate, if that we are all about, why care for anything else. Worse, the one thing to care (BTW this means women would be the primary focus and nothing else higher... or even lower, which according to my memory, very un-DJ), why care for that?

The funny thing is, Charles Darwin and even the Theory of Evolution never meant this. The mistaken concept that created from that was Social Darwinism, and you all know how that went... Now there's this new concept derived from evolution...

My sn, TheHumanist, is named that for a reason, part of humanism is the belief in the value of humans, in life. I read and study past philosphers of the past (Humanism is part of the Enlightenment) for as I found from there, there's more to life.

As is said here, "There more to Life than Women" (therefore have pursuits above them as argued here), There's more to life than just the idea we are a mass of cells that want to replicate the code that made the cells, which to my opinion, that train of thought sounds even more worthless than a mind just on women.

So going back, so the thing about romantics, love, and so on, is the article saying that evolution-biology explains that it exist for that stated purpose. I must admit that it is true and logical. However, I say there is more to humanity and life than just the evolutionary-biological existance.

We may laugh, cry, mourn, celebrate, and.... love, that all can be reduced to some biological-evolutionary thing. Do not think it cheapens the meaning of the joy shared from friends, experiences lived, and... of course... the time spent with a girl.

You know the ironic thing, the scientists and researchs (at the least one I talked with) never meant for this, they find data and make some theories. More of the time the media takes it and make many new claims on it. Actually, a little project assigned from my course I'm taking is finding a scientific article and a mainstream corresponding article and take note of the changes found.

So, basically, what you are saying is that if I see a ghost, for example, that I didn't because science tells us that ghosts don't exist?!

Just an example there. Please bare with me...

I'm partially with you on this subject, as I have no use for religion. But I believe that one truth reflects another. There is no reason why you cannot look at spirituality scientifically and still hold true to both. If you have a purely scientific viewpoint (using only current scientific standards and not accepting the possibility of advancment), then you are adhering to more of a religious doctrine than that of a science.
If the spiritual element exists (and I firmly believe that it does), then it must be subject to human scrutiny, if only theoritically for the time being.
