"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I'm one of those guys who has to read every article out there before I actually put it into action, and by the time my opportunity comes to use that tip, I've already forgotten what it was that I read. So I've decided to take part in a DJ Boot Camp so I can actually get some experience in the field instead of reading article after article. I've been keeping a journal in my computer, and it's pretty interesting to read the progress I've been making.

Anyway, I'm on week 3 right now, and I've been learning something new every time I go out. Tonight, I came across something that I'm really going to work into my game. I went to my local Target store to approach some women and get some conversations under my belt. I saw this cute girl (probably about 23) over in the candle aisle. I like using opinion openers, so I picked up a candle and asked her what she thought about it. Turned into a short conversation, which was exactly what I was looking for. Turns out, the candle I liked the best was one that she didn't like at all! Go figure.

Well, after saying goodbye, I continued to carry the candle around the store with me. It was really easy for me to approach women and get their input on the candle, and then transition the conversation into something else. I couldn't believe how effortless it was - picking something up in the store and asking women what they thought about it. Just thought I'd share!

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Awesome. Thanks for the tip. I find that opinion openers and environment comments are the best for opening.

I'm going have to use that one.

Good tip. Although I believe the bigger thing here is what they call congruency with your personality.

In business, they have a saying for leaders: "ANY system works, it's up to the worker's conviction to prove it so..."

Ultimately, you can do many other routines, but it seems this one works well for you. As you go along, you'll also happen to find other routines that might interest you. Never stop learning, and never let ROUTINE replace the joy in spontaneity and improv. GREAT post. 100

This reminds me I need to keep a journal.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

You are going to see a lot of success just because of your approach to becoming a DJ (that and the fact that you've realized the ease of the approach). Too many guys focus on closing that they never put any effort on just approaching.

You were successful because you focused on just having a simple conversation, nothing else. The secret to this type of approach is that the big payoff (the close) comes out of the blue more naturally with this mindset than that of one seeking the sole purpose of closing.

SARGE ON!

I like the tip, thanks, You might also be able to keep it going a little longer.

Once the conversation about the candle runs dry, if she has a cart, you can try and play off some of the items she has in her cart.

oh, i really like bla blah
oh, have you had those before..blah blah
You can play off almost anything, movies, food, you just have to be quick on your feet...

Yeah, I agree with you, you Goofy Bastard. Just looking at the things in her cart can sometimes tell you a little bit about her, maybe do a cold read on her or something. LOL... I'm gonna try that out as well. Thanks for the idea.
