"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Iv'e been going to this bar quite a few times recently and seen this HOT babe working behind the bar, she probably gets hit on by a lot of guys all the time so any advice on how I can come across to her that Im not like the other average guys. Not sure how to start a good conversation with her.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

If she is a bartender or waitress, wait for her to come to you for an order then say "i need a v i r g i n m a r y" then wink.

you'll look like all the other guys hitting on her, but a bit more charming.

then u switch the game.

once u are given your drink from her, just say "thanks, your a darling"

turn away and don't talk to her all night.

repeat this for 3 days straight with a bit of variation.

she'll be interested in u in no time.

and note: you better be a interesting person in real life here son

Lots of HB in a bar are ball buster. And most of the time and being ****y works well than just the plain small convo.

It doesn't matter how you approach her, just walk up to her, make a compliment or ask a question or say something about the place. Introduce yourself, and close with her number.

welcome to my world
last few times I went to the same club, there's a really cute bartender that's been flirting with me.

the thing that I guess set me apart the first time I went there, and made her remember me is that I was playful with her.

I honestly don't think we'll ever hook up, it's just mindless flirting, but I probably could...but that's another story.

Anyway, first time, when I was buying a drink, and she was like "that's blah dollars." and I held out my money, and as she was about to take it from my hand, I moved it away quickly ...she fell for it, and I was like "my 5yr old cousin doesn't even fall for that stuff anymore." From that point on we just tease each other...do playful stuff like that with beautiful women and you will quickly set yourself apart from the rest.

---------------

edit: also, though, the best way to meet a hot bartender is outside of the club/bar. you'll have better odds then. I know one that I've met outside of the bar...that if I'd met her at the bar I wouldn't have nearly been as close to.

err: just realized quest said the same thing :)

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
