"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Tomorrow I'll be hitting up a good friend's party, and I've invited two girls to join me, as long as a good buddy of mine.

The one girl I'm taking (first date w/ her), we're going to meet up before hand and go out a couple hours before, then stop by a little at the party together.

Figure I'll apply some kino in that time before, make her feel totally comfortable w/ me, and then just have a lot of fun at the party..drink a little wine (NOT get sh*faced), and just talk some more together. Be totally social around her..invite her to numerous people I know...show her that I'm pretty much just a really exciting guy.

Of course, there's also another girl who I invited who I think is kinda into me. We've been meaning to go out for a long time together (she's a LONG time school friend..elementary school!), never did, and my schedule is literally so f*cking booked that I decided to invite her so we could at least talk at the party together.

I figure this will be a perfect way to establich good social proofing there, but am wondering about some tips on making the date work (the one I'm really interested in...the first one I mentioned).

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

You should "set up the grounds" on the first part of that night and "make the kill" @ the party, she will feel alot more comfortable there.Try to rise her interest when you meet and during the first date, then at the party ignore her and give more attention to the other girl, then you make your move on the one you dated before.Make sure you know ALOT of people in that party and the house too (if its a house party),the idea basically is if you're comfortable in that environment you will project this to her,and she will be comfortable with you and the environment also.

Sounds like a plan. I'm pretty comfortable and out-going in parties and gatherings, so it should go well.

Make sure that you introduce the girl around and you say hello/handshake to as many people you can, friendly hug the girls :D.And if whoever asks you or the girl "how do you met workerouter/thegirl" don't say she's my date/my friend. My responses are often "She's my partner in crime/sidecick against crime etc"

Definately

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
