There was another thread started a little while ago about the pros and cons of online dating, there wasn't anything too surprising about it but one comment about social circle game really stood out.
The poster basically said there was no way he was prepared to gamble his [few] trusted friendships on a liason with someone's sister, friend of a friend etc. and for that reason he stuck to picking up online. That really struck home for me, I stay the hell away from it for the same reasons that I don't fool around in the workplace. Some of you guys are obviously making it work for you, who's the undisputed champ of social circle game 'round these here parts?
I figure the successful guys have a LOT of regular social contacts and they aren't fvcking with their inner circle. Either that or they're LTR guys, it just seems like there's no way you could get away with the old pump and dump with your best mate's girlfriend's cousin...unless you're Hank Moody.
I can't shake the feeling that for guys [like myself] with tight, small social groups it's really ill-advised.
