Single again after 25 years

Looks like I will be separating soon after 25 years of marriage. I'm 53, in shape, considered good looking, and the separation is my choice. A big reason behind the separation is that I did meet another woman, had a 27 month affair, and got dumped because I cheated on the OW and did not leave my wife soon enough for the OW. Thats two reasons really.

Anyway, I am going to move out and move to Florida. I have a pension, and some retirement accounts. I should be OK, but far from rich.

I am thinking of a POF account, and maybe hit the bars two nights a week. I also need to relax, find a meditation class, and get my head on straight.

I am somewhat anxious and sad about my failed marriage, and moving 1000 miles from my grown sons. A lot of the failure has to do with lack of sex, and then meeting the OW who has BPD, and then being sexually reawakened. I know it's a mid life crisis thing, but I want to be 25 and single again, with fewer responsibilities, and more women in my life.

Opinions? Tips? Anyone?

dont we all! you are in for a shock, think long and hard before you move so far from your sons.
whats the deal with Florida? have you really looked into this?

The deal with FL. is that I like FL., well some parts of it anyway. I have an ex GF that lives down there, and even though that relationship is over, I have seen a lot of the southern half of the state. I want to be able to swim outdoors, and I like the fat that in the areas I am looking, there is much less obesity than up north, probably because the people walk around with half the clothes you have to wear up north.

What do you mean by in for a shock?
