Good points Keto - My experience shows that that women who have genuine interest will ask probing questions about your personal life.

They typically say things like -
" Is SHE your girlfriend ?" ( If you are seen out with a plate by another plate)
" Do you live alone ?"
" Have you ever been married ?"
" Any children ?"
" You are a real Casanova aren't you ?"
I see questions like this ( there are probably 100's of them) as her being interested enough to open a dossier on you.
The trick is to evade answering her directly. This serves to amp up her IL even further - make fun of her questions. She is not entitled to any personal info about you until she has shown her worth.

Several months ago STR*uP was struggling with this very phenomenon. He wrote here , a few times, that initial attraction from the chick was high and then it plummeted and he was lost in bewilderment...the explanation is - too much IL and not enough VALUE. Women who are in "kissy touchy party mode" are rarely in the same mindset the next morning - 'buyer's remorse ' kicks in, or her 'slut barrier' is pulled firmly back in place, and regret has set in. Then, because she is a woman, her habitual response is to avoid any more possibly uncomfortable feelings and so she AVOIDS connecting with the person who "caused" it... the GUY.

I don't think the two are exclusive enough to say "too much IL, not enough value".

And I believe I posted the REAL reason why at least one of these chicks turned out to be a flake- she started seeing her ex husband again who had dumped her years earlier since she couldn't have children.

If she is extremely attracted to a man who throws out tidbits of interest (yet is unavailable for some reason) she will GO THROUGH THE MOTIONS with you, even displaying high interest, just to throw you in the back seat because she is more attracted to someone else.

7 times out of 10 this is why women do this.

Yep- which means that they are INTERESTED - the way I see it ,this is "entry level action" only.
Yesterday I walked into a Mercedes dealer and looked over a C320 softop.
I am TOYING with the idea of buying it.
I am sure that my series of questions to the the saleman indicated that I was INTERESTED , but that does not mean that I am ready to buy and he knew that..
I need to determine that car's VALUE to me before I will take it home .
THis may take a few visits to the lot ( more dates ) until I am convinced (or otherwise ) that I want that baby in my life. I am in QUALIFING mode.
THe saleman was smart enough NOT to try to close me - he indicated that he was willing to talk to me again and again if and when I return. He knows that INTEREST does not equate to a sale., and for me to BUY he needs to build that car's VALUE to me.

Nah....she was interested in him, but she is more interested in someone else.

High interest is trumped by higher interest.

Even if a woman is more interested in someone else, it still won't stop them from sleeping with another guy who she's less interested in. As long as she perceives the guy who she's less interested in, as a Player/DJ, then she'll want to sleep with him, and WILL sleep with him.

Well I am very aggressive with woman. We spent about 3-4 hours together and I kissed closed her and was rubbing her thigh while she was driving me home. I was being very aggressive. Well I feel that its hard to establish value from a girl you met online. The most important thing on the first date is the chemical reaction the girl feels. Value usually takes a little longer to establish. If your talking about social value than that can be established fairly quickly.

I have to totally agree with you on this. Woman hate to be alone. And I want to make one thing clear. If this girl seen me as her dream guy or her interest level was very high than she would not have flaked on the first place. She would have texted me 4 times and called me 3 times, instead she only called me once since flaking. I have not called her at all.

My gut feeling is that she is seeing someone else. She just seems like the type of girl that is never available. When I asked her what she was doing one night she said she has to go out with her brother, and she feels bad if she does not go out with him. I thought that was very strange.

Lol. If I ever teach, my first choice is European History(pre-Christian era, straight up to the 18th century. The 18th century is my cut-off point). Second to that, is English.
