Ok it was set. we agreed to meet at the mall on thursday at 5:00 pm. thursday rolls around and i go to he mall. walking twords the entrance i see her in front of me walking in. too nervous to walk up and say hi i decide to wait until i got to the place where we decided to meet.then i see this this little kid with her after confirming that she had no plan on meeting me at all i walked up to her and said something about just blowing me off she said she had to watch the kid so i kept my cool said see you around and left i went to see Return of the king ( which kicked A$$) so my whole night would not be wasted.

I read alot of stuff on this site about girls blowing off people. i just want to know why do they even bother to give out their number or pretend to be interested in you ? why dont they say no right when you ask them for their number and leave it at that?

Because many girls are just incapable of saying no, for whatever reason. So they take the easy way out by flaking on the date. It happens - teenage girls are particularly bad about this. Get used to it, and don't let it get you down, because it happens to everybody - learn from your mistakes and move on. You got stood up - didn't cost you any money, didn't hurt you physically. The only way it can impact you at all is if you let it mess with your mind... So don't.
