Showing Social Proof Through Appearance

Okay, i hardly post here anymore but i wanted to know if u can show social proof "you're cool" and "wanted" and "liked" by many through what u wear? like piercings, haircuts, clothes...

what do u wear that shows social proof? for me, its a nice watch, shades and some nice clothes, and good clean shoes.

I'm with you on the good clothes and shoes. I have no idea why, but the ladies always look at shoes.

i asked my mom and i was wearing REALLY white looking shoes..... i said "what can u tell about me from my shoes" and she goes "you're neat" and cuz they were nike's she added you're athletic.... but would it be possible that girls determine how cool a guy is by how many "shoes" he has?? i honestly think that if a guy has lots of shoes, this shows he is stylish, and that is social proof eh?

Why would girls look at your shoes when they should be looking into your eyes? I wear sandals, and they dont hinder me.
