"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Hi,

I haven't made a thread in ages but well here i am with another new one.

There is this chick, I'd rate her a 8.5. She's hispanic and she's got a hott body with nice ass and boobs. She also has a good face and all. She's talkative and very outgoing. Me and her have some common things we like and things we both have that is not on the "Interests" list. Anyways, starting from about three or four weeks ago I have realized that (or must've been assuming alot) she's been glancing or staring at me a few times per day! There were times when i put my head down or when I look at another direction and when I look back, she's staring at me and then when she sees me looking at her she moves her eyes away from me. Anyways, like around this week (it was on monday or tuesday, i dont remember.) i decided to stare at her while she was sitting a couple of yards away from me and all of a sudden she turned around and gave a straight direct eye contact. I was like wtf how did she know??
Now for the past few weeks I've kept discussions with good friends and people at the forums here and they've told me that the reason why the girl kept glancing and staring at me was because she was trying to show interest in me. I thought she had interest in me until today... No eye contact, no nothing. There was nothing suspicious going on either like it did back three/four weeks ago! I feel kinda bad that she doesn't show interest in me anymore. She started going out with a dude like last friday, by the way.

Is this just some stupid over-analyzing with the staring/glancing or could it mean something?

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

So .. she did this eye contact thing even YESTERDAY ( TUESDAY) .. after she went out with that dude (FRIDAY)??
If so.. i dont think u should blame it on that.
Either way you're overanalyzing the situation. I do it too, so i can notice when other ppl do it.
Just make a move. Saying to wait till shes not goin out with that guy anymore is a BAD excuse.

Heh i know, but i don't know... The way how it seemed like she was staring and glancing it really seemed unusual about her. Everytime i look back at her she looks somewhere else... It also feels like she has a few wingmen on the look-out for me. I mean i have a bad eye so i can't really be sure if the guys (her 'wingmen' aka good close friends) is looking at me. Don't worry though, they ain't gay ;) .

She realized that you have noticed her stares and was probably waiting for you to make a move, but you didn't.

I never gave her any stares before she stared at me. So it's her who gave the glances and stares at me first... I then thought she was interested, but after i saw her like grabbing and poking my friend in front of my face i had a big doubt.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

She was probably trying to make you jealous. You shouldn't have made assumptions and popped the question straight to her.

I really don't think that's the reason why man. You see before I liked her, she used do alot more things to the friend than she does now.
