Just thought I'd post this and find out what fellow DJ's thoughts are. Should he take her back after she left him and had a new boyfriend...?

"KATE Hudson is reportedly trying to rekindle her romance with ex-boyfriend Owen Wilson after splitting from Dax Shepard.

The Almost Famous actress is said to be desperate to woo back Owen - who was taken to hospital in August after a failed suicide bid - after realising she still loves him.

A source said: "It was working out between her and Dax but it's a clean break.

"After Owen's suicide attempt, she realised how much she loved him, and broke up with Dax."

Kate - who has a three-year-old son, Ryder, with ex-husband Chris Robinson - began dating Owen last year after meeting on the set of You, Me and Dupree.

However, they split in June following reports they clashed over his wild lifestyle.

Pals of Owen say he was devastated by the break-up and was heartbroken when he saw pictures of Kate and Employee of the Month star Dax canoodling while shopping.

Just days later, he was rushed to hospital when his actor brother Luke found him unconscious after slashing his wrists.

However, The Wedding Crashers actor has made a good recovery and earlier this month, he attended the Los Angeles premiere of his new film The Darjeeling Limited."

If she's his only reason for living then no, he shouldn't take her back. He forgot how life was worth living before her. I'm pretty sure he wasn't living to make someone else happy. He needs to fix how he looks at himself.

It seems Kate is going back to him out of pity. If he didn't attempt suicide, then would she care about getting back with him? I dunno.

This story, although gossip, speaks in volumes about the control we allow women to have over us. Although it makes her feel valid in some morbid way, I doubt she truly wants the guy to kill himself over her. He should definitely seek some help....before getting with ANYONE.

the LAST thing owen needs is to reintroduce into his life the very reason he attempted suicide in the first place!!!!

if he takes her back he's an idiot who is not doing what he needs to do - which is get his head on straight. he can only get his head on straight by focusing on himself and not some chic that gets his head all f*cked up such that he wants to kill himself if she leaves him.

and she's an idiot if she goes back to him because she will be directly interfering with the psychological work he needs to do to fix himself so that he isn't depressed / suicidal in the future.

and yet, having said that, im sure we'll see them on larry king together in a few months saying everything is now hunky dorry.

and then in about 2-3 years from now we'll hear that owen took his life and this time succeeded by blowing his brains out.

when someone reaches the point of wanting to commit suicide they must STOP, drop out of 'regular' life for a while and get help. this is a critical period in his life. if he doesn't address what is wrong with him and fix it, next time, it likely will kill him.

ya. canoodling is when a woman inserts a bunch of noodles into her vagina (well half way in anyway).

then she stands over a man and he eats the noodles by sucking them out of her vagina.

at least thats how websters defines canoodling.

Once again, proof positive. It doesn't matter how good you look. It doesn't matter if you have the social proof of a major celebrity. It doesn't matter if you're a multi-millionaire. ONEitis can and will kill you.

Affluence, sex appeal, fame, are all superceded by the psychology of the Average Frustrated Chump.

I've always thought Owen Wilson was pimp enough to pull anyone but when I see crap like Tom Cruise marrying some tall younger girl chick (Katie Holmes) and marrying her (from what I can tell is probably an inferiority complex) or Michael Jackson...I'm guessing the most popular people tend to have be the most insecure motherf*ckers around.

Like Jon Stewart or Bill Maher, they seem like confident guys that can pull some serious tail, but it's just an image they're projecting like they need approval from others.

when you see someone on tv or in the movies you are seeing a persona - a well crafted persona at that.

its a myth that being famous somehow makes you super human.

yes, you can pull all kinds of tail. but having a stable relationship i would predict would be even harder! because both parties have this 'persona' that is NOT them.

when you take the script away, when you take the joke writers away, when you remove the make up, etc. these people really are no different than anyone else.

the only difference is perhaps they tend to be more extroverted and greater risk takers than your average joe. neither of which are of any help in building a solid relationship with another human being.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
