"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Ok, first I'll give you a little background on this girl. I met her about 2 months ago in my hometown. I was visiting my parents for a week.

We were at a party and someone told her where I go to college and I be dang if she don't go to the same college. So right at first we had things to talk about, and a few things in common.

I told her (once I got her number) that I would call her one day and we can go do something. Fast forward a couple of weeks.

I call her and she doesn't answer so I leave a message. She never called back. Well the next 2 weeks I was so busy that I didn't have anytime for myself so I never called her back.

So just a week ago, she texted me and asked me if I was in town (our college town) and I told her yea. So she ended up coming back to my apt and we watched t.v. and talked about things. By the way.. I was slightly intoxicated, but she wasn't exactly "sober" so the conversation we had wasn't the clearest.

So over the past few days, she has been texting me wondering what I'm doing on that certain night. Ok, the past two times I've invited her to come over she has said "yes I will come over."

But she never does. I try and call her or text her and she doesn't answer. So about that time I'm about to go to bed and she uses some excuse like she had no service, or something bogus like that

I personally don't beleive her and my question to you is: Should I keep trying to contact her? I mean I am usually not the one who calls her first, she always calls me, and then of course nothing happens. I respond to her message then its like she falls off the face of the earth.

What do you think? Am I being teased or what?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I was thinking, "Man, things are goin' well" until that part. Forget this b1tch.

Do a forum search for the "Anti-Dump Machine" series by Pook and you will understand. There's no point in low-interest chicks. And moreover, lying to you is just plain disrespect; you shouldn't tolerate that from anyone, male or female.

Good job approaching and getting the #, tho. Keep up the good work. This girl has eliminated herself from the category of quality women. Keep on approaching and keep on filtering out the bad ones.

So the next time she contacts me what should I say? I know she will within the next couple of days. Should I just ignore her?

Simple: Don't pick-up. You have nothing in common to discuss with her.

Seriously, read those posts I mentioned. Don't be lazy. They will help you.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
