"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Should I pursue main plate or just keep spinning?

I am currently about to enter my last year of college.

My situation is that I think I may begin to fall for my main plate. The one issue is she does quite a bit of drugs (much more than me). Furthermore, she parties and drinks every weekend. I do too but not on her level since I'm more focused on school and getting into graduate school rn. If we were to get into a relationship down the road I don't see it lasting more than my last year of college due to the drugs/partying and she just doesn't seem like the girl you bring home to mom. I do see the fun side of dating tho since we would be able to go to raves and stuff together and just have fun my last year.

My question: should I allow her to move from a plate to a more LTR as time moves on or should I pursue my other plates more heavily in order to take up my time and just keep her as a casual thing.

I'm leaning towards just pursuing many other plates since I don't think she is the best influence on my life (drugs, doesn't care about school) and wouldn't be the worth the headache of dating exclusively for a year just for the sake of fun. I don't think its wise to allow myself to be in such a situation and fall in love with such a girl.

Let me know your guys' thoughts :)

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Definitely keep things casual with her. Much easier to maintain clarity & purpose before you enter into a relationship than it is to regain those in the midst of those emotions.

I've enjoyed the company of some really really awesome women just like her; but the qualities that make them a fun fling pretty much disqualifies them from serious investment. It's always a case of Man, she'd be such an awesome gf BUT...

It sucks, but an LTR is a lifestyle choice; it has to be a rational choice with 100% awareness of the potential consequences.
