"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Should I just wait for a while?

Well, there is this 15-year-old HB9 I would really like to seduce. She goes to my school, two grades below me. We started communicating online. Soon we decided to meet - we went for a walk. I left a really bad impression of myself to her, though. I was completely exhausted, wanted to sleep and talked some bullsh*t. There was some minor kino and hugging, though. We kind of agreed she would come to my place some day, she wanted to see my dog and so on. I am quite sure the situation is not hopeless. It was about a month ago, when we met. I see her about every second day at school, but we only like smile and say "Hi!", nothing more.
We had not talked for like 3 weeks (not even online.. only like "good night" on IM a few times). Last week I asked her to come ice-skating with me. Well, she gave me some hope, but she really (I know it for a fact that she did) had some other plans made, so she did not come. After that I thought I would "NEXT!" her, but as I see every other day in shcool how beautiful she is, I decided to give her another chance, lol.
Anyway, the question is - should I wait for a while and then invite her to my place or do it already this weekend (tomorrow)? What do you think? Of course I kind of f*ucked up a lot with the image I left of myself the day we met, but I feel there still definitely is a chance. We talked a lot more before the walk, though. So that worries me. But still, I do not have anything to lose, have I?
So when should I call her? My plan is to have her play with my dog a bit and then go upstairs to my room, watch some movie ("Love Actually" ?:p), do some kino and see what happens. I would drive her home later and we might go out for a dinner on the way or whatever. But still - when should I call her and HOW should I do that? What should I tell her?

Thanks!

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

If the movie thing works out, you might not get to eat that night. ;)

IMO, I don't think asking her to your house (considering your "situation") is that great an idea. I'd start off going somewhere fun that "couples" go to (mall, fast food, pool hall) and work from there.

Thank you for the reply. Could you please explain, though, why do you think inviting her to my house would not be a good idea?
