my job has nothing to do with luck. I'm very very good at what I doBut that’s not something that everyone has. That’s like stocks and bonds. Very volatile. You need to know what you’re doing and/or have some luck or otherwise you lose out big.
my success is probably the following things
- I'm very smart (especially excellent with numbers, great memory, etc...)
- I push myself very hard to get better and better everyday
- I work my ass off
- I'm good looking (Helps a lot in sales)
- I am very personable
the one thing in my favor is that I live near Chicago so I was able to find a huge, great dealership to work at. You're not going to make my money selling cars at some dump that sells 100 cars a month. You need to be at a store that sells 500-900 cars a month
Lots of people who try selling cars burn out and fail miserably. You really have to have strong sales game to be good at it.
