i got this girls phone number i really like she gave it to me...now my friend says i should not call her but i think i should he says i shouldn't call her until i ask her to do something with me is that right?

you barely gave us any information LW09. all we know is that the girl that you like gave you her number.

Is she a girl from your school? If she is, dont call her. Ask her out during school (i.e action date over the weekend). once thats down, flirt with her during school hours. then (most probably the 3rd day) you should call her and flirt with her (and try starting off [the convo] with things you flirted with her during school).

If she is not from your school, call her and proceed to 5 - 10min flirting (escalate to sexual flirting). then ask her out for the weekend. (forget what the DJ Bible said about 1st dates on weekends because your only in HS. the guide is a little different; use it to your advantage)

your goal is to attract, not seduce. that should be your ultimatum. no matter what you do, you should lead it to attraction.

ok this girl is from school a few days before i asked her for her phone number i asked her on a date and she agreed i didnt no her that well and i decided to ask her for her # and she gave it to me i figured i should get to kno her better
