I recently started a relationship with a Russian girl. Before we got together, I knew she was interested in me, and once during this time she mentioned in conversation (she's 23), "I am at the age when I am supposed to be getting married. My parents are always saying when will you get married. For us, at this age, it is expected". I made a joke about it, forget what I said. But it stuck in my mind.

Now, last night I did the wicked deed with her, and got this message from her earlier (this is part of the message):

"...you know that after what you have done
to me any decent man being on your place
would make a proposal immediately.
be online! see you!
[Reaper*] the Greatest!"

Lay it down on this girl. She obviously has no problems sharing her view. You need to tell her whats up outside of Russia. And a 20yr. old doesn't propose. Unless he's a fckin smitten fool. Plenty of time for that, later in life... if thats what someone wants to do.

But seriously... she needs her perspective readjusted.
Do it tactfully, do it strong, do it clearly and cool... but let it be known.
AND JUST DO IT!
