"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Well I made my gf feel bad yest, I told her that if she didnt go to this place with me then i didnt want to hang out with her this week. I felt that when ever we do things its always whatever she wants and not what i want to do. BUt this weekend is a speacial party only comes once in three months, but I told her and i got mad that it wasnt fair to me that we go to the party if didnt want to. She told me we can go where I want anytime this party only comes once in a while. We where planning to go to a motel and I told her thats what i really wanted to do;) . I got mad at her and and said a few mean things, she alomst cried. So afterwards she calls me and and says

her: what do u expect from this realtionship?
me: (not good to answer questions like that): sweeti im working ill call u later

later on i call her and I tell her im sorry for being a jerk and that I just felt like we never do what I want to do. So she told me, that next time I should say what I want to do, and not assume that she knows, so i told her thats right, I never tell her actually. SO i told her im sorry, but she siad she still felt bad cuz some one who u care about hurt her.

So now after all this, what do u guys think, what hapened here?

Im gonna see her at her work today

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

She turned it around on you like the typical women they are? Tell her exactly what you meant.. That whenever you want to go somewhere, she can happily not go but when she asks you to go somewhere, she chucks a hissyfit.. Am I right?

actually, when i told her lets go some place this one weekend, i wanted to go to the olive garden, i said it once and she said okay and we went. Its just that It feels as if we go to places that she wants more than the place i want. thas it

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

See the thing is that it wasnt petty and that I bascially said that if we dont go to the motel this weekend then I dont think I want to come to the party with u. Its not fair to mee. She felt bad bcuz she thought it didnt matter what we did together as long as we where together.
