As a YouTube content creator, I can tell you that its hard to make people watch your video past couple of minutes. There is a whole process to making videos, kind of like game and sosuave. You've got intro telling people what they are suppose to expect in your video, a summary of video which is no longer than 30 seconds. Then you've got an actual intro. Then you've got subjects and topics. Etc. It's a science. You mess it up and it all goes to hell. People click away from your vids. YouTube algorithm does not promote your video. Then your entire channel suffers.

A 10 minute video is considered too long and is a real gamble that can ruin your channel.
