"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

How do you deal with a girl whose not over her past bf?

She never talks to you about him, even when they were going out, but you know shes not over him!

Is it a case of getting as far away as possible?

Also another question id like to ask, this is based on me rather than some girl, even tho it sounds like the same sort of thing (Its not)

But....What do you do when you know somethings bad for you but you still cant let it go?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Let her go.

Give her space to sort out her feelings. It's not going to do either one of you any good to stay together if she's not over her ex.

And, if something is bad for you, you have to get the courage to let go, or else it will destroy you.

I've been in this situation many times and you can't win. As long as she feels an emotional connection with another guy, you can only come second, regardless of whether you're the coolest, best looking, richest or smartest cat on the block! Emotional attachment overpowers all logic and even sexual attraction.

Like T Square said, back off and let her come to terms with her feelings.

You could stick around as her mate (note: NOT her councellor or shoulder to cry on!) for now, show her a good time and help distract her from her ex. But don't pin your hopes on her (or any one girl). Keep your options open and keep dating other women!

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Defintely DO NOT get emotionally involved. I just got out of the same situation. Everyone, including her, knew how much better of a guy i am than her ex, however she kept finding her self torn between the two. Eventually, so much drama went on that I ended it because it was starting to bring me down.

Anyway, you can still try to get with her, but honestly man do not emotionally invest yourself in to this girl. Do you really want a chic that wants some other guy also?
