"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

last time we got together i told her to give me a call..although i didnt make it too clear. and the last time we were together everything went really well. 5 days went by and nothing, and i sent her a mesasge over myspace and theres a way to check if someone reaad your message, and i know she did but didnt respond. my message went along the lines that i had a good time and we should get togehter again during the holidays.

so nothing for a few days. i called her and wished her merry christmas on christmas eve and things were cool and we talked about spending new years together. she told me she would call me on tuesday.... nothing. so today (wed) i was on msn at work and she was on. i messaged her and we talked for a min or two and she mentioned shes sick and missed work today. she said shes not doing anyhting in the evening and she would call. ... again nothing

so im just sitting here scratching my head now. in person everything always goes well and shes extremely flirty and she even is flirty over my space. but when it comes to calling or responding to messages (over internet or even phone) shes kinda cold and never responds.

is she testing me?
i was considering calling her tomorrow and asking whats up with her and what her deal is. is that a good idea?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Don't bother with her. She doesn't have the heart to turn you down. One time forgetfulness I can understand- four or five times? No way.

Somebody had to say it. NEXT.

seems like she's trying to be a challenge. Usually the ones that play challenge dont call when they say they do.
She does seem like she's interested, she's opened her schedule to you by telling you she's doing nothing.

I would back away from her and date others in the meantime, if she wants to call she will. However always remember that when you call a girl, it's to set up a date...dont call to talk about nonsense.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

well i would be calling to confront (ala http://www.sosuave.com/quick/tip167.htm) and say either yes or no. if its a yes then lets do something on ___day. if no then "next"
