"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

This is basically an update to my last thread.

I overheard that she's ending it with her boyfriend today or by the very least by the weekend. She's pretty much given up all hope.

We're definitely attracted to one another and there's quite a lot of chemistry/banter/teasing going on between us, but the trouble is is that since she's in this transitional period, I don't think it's the best time to be thinking about asking her out. Please see my other thread for more info on the "signs".

My question is, should I wait for her to be "ready" or do I simply move on?

Keep in mind that I'll keep my options open to dating other women and I'm not confined to her. Cheers.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Yeah, there's this other bird who clearly likes me too... might ask her out and go on some dates on the side.

First.... it is no 'accident' you overheard this... If she did not want you to know then you would not know. She is sending you a message shes going back on the market. DO NOT jump on this like a starving cougar... wait a bit (you judge how long, but not more than a couple of weeks) be a bit of a challenge, it will work out better for you in the long run. Women do this no matter how old they are, but when they are younger you will her this news through their friends. When you start dating women in their mid to late 30s and 40s, they just freaking come right out and tell you they are available.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

That's a very good point. It was basically me, her and two of her friends at the table. The lecturer wasn't there at the time.

I was just pretending not to hear and writting **** down. Does this scenario change what you think might of been happening.

Thanks!

Nope... think about it... there are 24 hours in a day. If this was a 5 minute conversation, they pretty much could have had this discussion in any one to the 288 five minute periods where you would NOT have heard this. Trust me it was no accident.

The only exception is if the girl has absolutely no interest in you and she does not believe that you have any interest in her. Basically she thinks you are a friend, but since as you say she is flirting with you and you back, she knows you like her and she wants you to know.

I wouldn't be listening to any of her talk about a breakup. If she want to spend time with you she will make herself available. Do not try to be that proverbial branch that she swings to. In the meantime you should be spinning plates.

Rex thinks that PlayerHer Man said it best when he said the following.

"If you're not planning to f*ck a woman soon.. why are to talking to her? Only talk to her when you are making moves."

This needs to be plastered everywhere. As simple as a formula will ever get.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Do most girls detect whether a guy likes her back or not? Like a sixth sense or something?

I've always thought this was true.

Yes... Women know intuitively the degree with which a guy likes them. It's not really a 6th sense, though it appears that way. They're just more observant and learn from an early age to read people, and also are pretty good at hiding how they truly feel. Men have this ability as well but we typically never learn to develop it.
