"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

I met up with a girl from my school for lunch I met this semester, wasn't considered a date but just getting a meal after I needed to pick up some school papers from her. Now before lunch we found out that we both have the same favorite food, like we both read each's mind. What ended up happening was we had a good time and she actually paid for both of our meals, she just picked it up and declined my offer.I said I'll pick up next one. How many dudes can say that a girl paying for my meal... But I'm still not convinced in her interest level in me, cause I've known a lot of girl players(I see some in her) and this girl seems to have a lot of dudes after her and she has a lot of options and possibly guys on the side, big partier like myself. I got stiff competition, I barely know her compared to these guys and I don't party with her like they do.
Now she knows I'm cool confident,we flirt at times, I'm ****y funny but maybe bit too much into myself and arrogant, we joke, eye contact etc. But I haven't yet gotten the oppotunity to pull some kino on her yet. Now what do you think, since this wasn't a date she could of at least let me pay for myself, is this a sure sign of interest or just friendly sincereity of a friend. This broad seems differnet than most I've been with and definitly piqued my interest level...feedback appreciate it.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Can't be a bad thing, and could well means there's some significant interest on her part. Say thanks, but don't make a big deal out of it. Its always good to let people do favours for you, it reinforces in their mind their positive feelings about you.

If she has a lot of dudes after her, it is a very good thing to have her do as many favors for you as possible. It reinforces a feeling of her "investing" in your time. And, anyone who "invests" in anything, wants a return, get it? If you buy a chick dinner, you are gonna want something back too. Besides, all the other chumps are gonna be buying her crap to try to buy her attention, and this sets you in a different frame. You have the advantage.

if she doesn't know u very well and is already buying you stuff then that's an IOI. if anything, since she's so hot and so wanted she's good social proof.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
