"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Okay guys, the title is just an attention grabber BUT i really need all your advice. So I wanna get into the game, but i have some insecurity issues that are holding me back majorly. First of all, i have braces, which are coming off in about 6 months. The fact that i have them makes me look immature, and its even hard to properly make out in them. Secondly, i'm very scrawny (adding to my immature look) and i will not work out until i'm done growing, because im only 5'10 at 16 (the men in my family are slow growers). I even get mistaken for a 13 year old sometimes, even though im 16. I also have glasses, i had contacts for a while and got no compliments on them, but then i got a new pair of glasses and got dozens of compliments which i found a little bit weird. There are some other body issues that im insecure about, which are currently being taken care of (but could take a while). I do get looks and even conversations with hot women/strangers, but its usually inncoent and never leads to anything. When i see those hot mature women i feel unworthy to even go talk to them, because i know i'll come off as just some horny kid. I dont know how much i can accomplish until these issues are fixed but i'm scared that once they're fixed, i'll be done high school, and be without a girlfriend...

any advice?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Forget the insecurities.

You have a tool here that you don't see.

First I'd like to point out so many guys here have "problems" which have a good side, which can be used.

You said most of your conversations with hot women were innocent, you can use that to your advantage. You can fly in under the radar with a simple opener like "What's the time?" or something and escalate from there.

You need to work on your Inner Game here, have you ever watched seduction school? It's about a hugeass fat guy, a tall scrawny guy and a midget trying to learn the art of Don Juaning. It proves that looks make less difference than most people think.

Work with what you have got, be confident, if you think there is something wrong with you, women will pick it up, if you think you are the best thing since sliced bread, they will pick that up too.

By the way, I'm pretty sure your thread can be deleted if a Mod sees the title does not match the topic.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Damn and I was going to laugh at you....

Oh well.

Anyway, if you're still growing, that's when you're supposed to work out...not AFTER you grow :S

Working out does not stunt growth, its a myth. As long as you have perfect form you should not have a problem. I suggest you go to the Health and Fitness Forum and look up some articles.

You should start here:
http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?t=110033

Before you start worrying about getting a woman, start improving yourself. Identify your flaws and strengthen them. Workout, join a sport, get a new hobby, anything, as long as you are growing and challenging yourself. If you are not growing you are dying.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Are you saying that working out in middle or high school stunts growth? Because that sounds pretty ridiculous to me. Let's see some actual sources.

its proven it can with out proper form

if ur below 15 its recommended u have a trainer or ur dad or some one whos REALLY knows what their doin

met a kid once who screwed up his back lifting
almost broke it going to the HS gym at 14 nvr having lift before and put some crazy amount of weight on for squats and some how managed to lift it and ended up on the floor 2 fractures in his back

i know this story cuz my little sis (6th grader now 5th grade when it started)
was in the hospital for awhile cuz she got a nerve cuaght in one of those fractures that nvr rly bother u (called stress fractures and most ppl at one point have one)

The kid you met....that's his fault, not theirs.

I've been working out since 15 and I'm fine. Working out doesn't mean lifting the heaviest thing you can find as soon as you get there....

how many people begin lifting with good form and don't over do it from the start? i say less than 2%. hence, why you should hold off the weights until your body develops more.

“The 22 Psychological Triggers That Make Women Chase You… Starting Tonight”

Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.

I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules.  Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.

These things are all icing on the cake that you're worried about.

You don't even have a cake yet.

If you don't look like shrek then don't worry about it. Do what you can to improve yourself and move on in life which should be your main priority.

What you REALLY need to do is GET OUT THERE and start COLD APPROACHING EVERYONE.

You will learn with experience. Keep your head up through the muck. Right now it seems like you're struggling just to breathe because it's up to your head but if you manage to keep walking you're going to find that the muck gets shallow. If you stay where you are you're going to do just that..... You're going to stay where you are.

You need to keep walking regardless of what happens and you need to get some experience. KEEP GOING.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Yeah no shiat, man. OF COURSE if you don't lift properly you can get injured, no matter your age. The question was whether you lifting weights as a teen can "stunt growth". If this were actually true, all football players would be 5' 4" 190 lbs.

It's funny how you say it's proven and then go on to give two random examples from your personal life.

LOL...backtracking are we? I thought you disagreed when NeedsaGuitar said that "working out stunts growth is a myth".

And where's the evidence for your 2%? Sure, a lot of people are stupid, but not 98% of people who work out. Too extreme.

And even if it was 2%, how would your body growing more really help, if you're going to overdo it anyway? If you're 15 and 140 lbs and try to bench 225, you're probably hurt yourself. But if you're 21 and 180 lbs and try to bench 250 (you're more confident about your abilities) you can still hurt yourself. Hence, your point makes no sense.

You're 5'10"? I'm 18 and I'm 5'8" and I have no problems. Don't worry about your height to much.
