I was out with some friends in a bar today and sat with my back turned to four women who I'd guess were in their mid-40s - fat, loud, crude and I'd rate each of them as UG2s. (complete strangers btw)
So I'm sitting talking to my friends when I start feeling someone stroking my neck. I look around and one of these women puts her hand on my shoulder and starts telling me her friends say I'm sexy and wanted to stroke my neck?! I laugh awkwardly, say "thanks" and turn to my friends. Then another woman starts stroking my neck!
I'm quite embarrassed and they're all laughing and making innuendos, then one of them tells me they're holding an Anne Summers party and ask me if I'd be their entertainment. The others make more innuendos about me looking good in a uniform and pass some comment about dressing as a policeman and getting my "truncheon" out.
I suppose there was some underlying flattery there, but I felt objectified and very uncomfortable. Maybe I should have spoke up, but they were so loud and overconfident they probably would have laughed at me. Instead I asked my friends if they minded moving to another table.
My friends teased me a bit and helped me see the funny side, but the truth is it was harrassment and I felt singled out and humiliated by it.
I've had similar (though less embarrassing) experiences where women have done this and treated me like a bimbo. Anyone had this before and have a good way to deal with it without causing a scene or getting humiliated?
