"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I was out with some friends in a bar today and sat with my back turned to four women who I'd guess were in their mid-40s - fat, loud, crude and I'd rate each of them as UG2s. (complete strangers btw)

So I'm sitting talking to my friends when I start feeling someone stroking my neck. I look around and one of these women puts her hand on my shoulder and starts telling me her friends say I'm sexy and wanted to stroke my neck?! I laugh awkwardly, say "thanks" and turn to my friends. Then another woman starts stroking my neck!

I'm quite embarrassed and they're all laughing and making innuendos, then one of them tells me they're holding an Anne Summers party and ask me if I'd be their entertainment. The others make more innuendos about me looking good in a uniform and pass some comment about dressing as a policeman and getting my "truncheon" out.

I suppose there was some underlying flattery there, but I felt objectified and very uncomfortable. Maybe I should have spoke up, but they were so loud and overconfident they probably would have laughed at me. Instead I asked my friends if they minded moving to another table.

My friends teased me a bit and helped me see the funny side, but the truth is it was harrassment and I felt singled out and humiliated by it.

I've had similar (though less embarrassing) experiences where women have done this and treated me like a bimbo. Anyone had this before and have a good way to deal with it without causing a scene or getting humiliated?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

i'd have slapped the **** out of one of them... you are right, that is harrassment, and if I did that to a woman, I deserved to be slapped, so likewise...

I would have handled it differently, its not like they were trying to grab your d1ck or ass. A simple " I apperciate the offer ladies but my girlfriend wouldn't like that" and that will be the end of that.

You got to know how to handle ALL WOMEN, not just the pretty ones.

Being treated like a piece of meat sucks, doesn't it? This is something every attractive woman has to deal with on a regular basis. That's why sexual harassment laws were made. True, there are women who use those protections as a weapon unfairly...but they were put in place out of necessity because there are always a few meatheads who think it's cute and funny to touch or speak to others in a sexual way that is unwanted and unwelcome. And as you have learned...sexual harassment isn't something only men are capable of doing. It's unpleasant when it's done to you regardless of your sex.

For future reference...I've found the best way to nip this kind of thing in the bud is to not feel like you need to be polite to people who violate your personal space like this. They aren't being polite to you, so you shouldn't feel that you have to be respectful to them. Feel free to be as mean and rude as you want to.

Well your day sounded pretty bad Jariel.
But my day has been quite awkward as well.

Taking the train to work...I arrive at my stop and as the train doors open and im about to exit the train, some mid-aged woman grabs me by the arm and asks something about the bridge, i say i dont know and leave.

Later im having lunch in small japanese shop. Out of nowhere this chubby lady (customer) sitting behind me gets up and gets some condiments from the counter and comes over puts them on my tray. As i leave she glances at me.

One of my freakiest days, but i dont think it could compare to yours haha.
