Hi guys, I have a quick question for you guys. I noticed that nearly everytime I have a bad night of sleep, the next day my sexual performance is significantly worse, I cant maintain an erection as hard or as long as usual, does this also happen to you on a regular basis?

Thanks

Lack of sleep causes an increase of cortisol and stress. Stress is a known erection killer. Keep your stress down.

Also lowers testosterone by the same rate it increases cortisol...they have an inverse but direct relationship...when one is up the other is down.

Lack of sleep is one of the biggest stressors the body ever faces...most people have no idea this is the case.

Boner test is a good signifier of your health. Are you having morning woods upon waking?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Today I had somewhat of a boner and the girl wanted to smash, but my performance (erection) was mediocre at best. Again, I didnt have a good night of sleep (new bed, new place, nem pillow, and im not used to sleeping with other people as I live alone)

Someone posted a link Matthew Walker's talk with Joe Rogan on here. I listened to some of it and his Ted Talk and my mind was blown. I went out and got his book. I honestly didn't realize how important sleep was (despite feeling like **** just about every day for years) and have made it my goal to consistently get 8 hours of sleep a day.

People do all this stuff and spend all this money to try and get healthier and by far the best thing they could do is simply sleep 8 hours a day but they won't do it.

Not disputing that more sleep is better -- However, I can say that for me personally, I cannot sleep that long. My body essentially maxes out at 7 hours and I generally feel more sluggish if I get that much. I am best at a hair over 6 to 6.5. If I get 5.5 or under I can tell and feel very lousy.

Studies have shown that regardless of how you feel, your body doesn't agree with you. That 8 hours is pretty much universally needed whether you believe it is or not.

Also, alcohol destroys your sleep ability and patterns. So nights you drink you sleep like ****. Even one drink for me janks up my whole night sleep.

From what I have read the studies are fairly open-ended with some pinning the range at 6-8 and others at 7-9. But admittedly, it isn't a subject that I am reading up on. I will just listen to my body -- I can't get behind feeling sluggish.

I am EXACTLY like that.

Like everything it's quality rather than quantity.

The 8 hours sleep myth has been proven to be exactly that- a myth. there is no one-size fits all. Your body is telling you exactly what it needs and what it doesn't.
Mines is similar too.

Sleep alone isn’t enough.
stress can exist independent of sleep.

I have a very stressful job and it interferes.

about 2 months ago a work rival who was the cause of much stress, essentially committed career suicide by losing his temper with a senior manager.

my libido was so strong for about 3 days.

then I sink back into worrying about work and it kills it.

it’s often fairly dead m-t but fri sat sun, when I stop thinking about work, it comes back.

Plus, on holiday it’s the best it ever is.

stress is far more important than sleep. I sleep fine, but I get a lot of stress.

Good feedback here, definately stress and bad sleep influence me. I also havent watched barely any porn for the last months so it isnt that either, and I dont take any meds.

It drops your test by a significant portion. Not shocking. There's a debt similar to consumer debt. You have a IOU. Sadly if you trash your body, you will pay the price. I've had poor sleep through my life. I have since made it a priority. No I am not sneaking out late night pulling an all nighter for some thots beaten up meat curtains. I've done it.

Forget ED. Optomize your health. First and foremost this should be baseline. Everything else passes through that vehicle.

Get sleep, reduce stress, maximize your vitamins for sexual health along with eating clean. Stay away from all porn and masterbation for 2 months along with decent cardio. Maintain a healthy weight if possible and you should be good too go. If your still suffering from ED get your hormones and test checked. If they are normal it's time to buy some ED pills and have sex a few times while weening yourself off the pills to regain confidence of your mental condition.

I had problems in bed before my problem was not sleep though.
It was my diet.
I was eating way too healthy and not consuming enough calories and I was like 9% body fat. Looked amazing, felt like ****. Started eating a balanced diet. Much more calories, little junk here and there and my boners are great.

although before I found it was my calorie deficit I took viagra just to get a little confidence back.

check your diet, sleep better. Lift weights, try small dosages of viagra. Don’t jackoff…
