"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I don't know if any of you guys have experienced this, but I've begun to notice when I'm in a relationship that the girl and I never really fight until after the first time we have sex. I know it's not me, I'm a very calm person and it takes a great deal to make me angry. I swear it happens every time. Does anyone have an explaination for this?

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

It's like a switch.

Sex usually dignifies the peak of the "Honeymoon period" in a relationship, I stress the word usually, every situation is different.

Once you peak, and you get over that period, you become more settled and open to criticising your spouse. Criticism sometimes leads to conflict.

Notice when you've just nabbed this girl, you're in your early stages, sometimes you may tend to bite your tongue and hold back on negativity? Once that gets thrown out the window, and you're more comfortable with each other, fighting becomes a natural way of venting.

It's healthy to have the right kinds of conflict, anything to stop people from repressing negative emotions has got to be good.

That's just one explination anyway, plenty of factors could be the cause.
