You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
Thanks. I think the Holy DJ Bible needs to be updated to balance the current technological developments.WestCoaster said:Before caller I.D., I was of the opinion of leaving no message. Now they know you called either way and if you don't leave a message, it's kind of creepy.
I leave a short message, that's it.
Caller I.D. changed the whole phone game, IMO.
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
Read the DJV Bible, you'll notice this passage is written clearly in there. I'm not making it up.grinder said:You said:
"I know many people here preach against leaving messages the first time you call her but what happens if the girl never return your call later? Do we call her back, hoping she'll pick-up and if not, leave a message?"
Answer: NO. Not only NO, but HELL NO!
Thanks.Maximus_Decimus said:BTW Amoka, when you get better at the game, you will realize the DJ Bible may not be the best source of material available. Rather than reading the DJ Bible and taking the information in "blindly," use your own head and think through whether the information in the DJ Bible is good information or poor information.
Being able to analyze information on your own and learning from it is more important than vacuuming up information "blindly." You may meet men out there that are very good at picking up women ... unless they are close friends of yours, they likely won't tell you how they are doing it. It's up to you to figure out what makes them "tick" and why they are so successful.

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
I"m a little surprised too since I didn't do the the phone call too smooth. But I had the supreme phone close, another dude started hitting on her and I thought my chances were shot, but no thats AFC thinking, I went up, interupted them and told her she better give me her number right now because I was leaving. Later that week, my bud saw her out at the bars and she asked about me. So I didn't worry so much about the phone game as just wanting to get a hold of her. I'll let you know how it pans out, Friday I'll call her and tell her where I'll be, she will follow. She knows where its at.tmpgstx said:...
Rocky, i'm surprised this younger girl called you back. You were acting very passively and most girls in this age group i know wouldn't have texted you back.
...
Bravo!tmpgstx said:...When you call and leave a message not asking her to call you back, the reason you're not asking her to call you back, is to protect your own ego.
You're already setting yourself up for failure because you're feeling she really won't call you back, you're just hoping against hope that she will....
It's just that simple.XFactor said:I leave a brief message and only call once, not only because she may have caller ID anyway but if shes really keen on you she will call you back! And if she doesn't call you back..... Next.
