"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

So, Back when I hadn't been broken up with my ex long, I met this chick one day while doing a curbside pickup at a restaurant.

I met her, we chatted while she was getting my food, and I was paying and such.

I had a little rapport, and she made some comment about having nothing better to be doing. So I asked when she was working again, and said I'd come back to see her.

She said, she was working the same time the next day. So I said ok, cool.

Next day, I decided to go back. I know it was generally a bad idea, but it was the only day that she had said she was to be there, so I went.

Well, sure enough, she was there, and I ended up asking for and getting her #. I WAS SOOO AFC then.

That was before I found this site.

Well, I txt'd her a few days later and said some blah about having met her there, and wanted her to call back. It was so AFC.

Well, she didn't call, and I didn't know for sure that it was a cell. So, a couple days later I called her and left a Vmail, SOOOO AFC.

Of course, no return call.

Well, that was prob May, or June.

I was back in there today for the first time since, eating lunch with a friend. I thought I saw her.

So, being dumb, and really not caring, I sent her a txt that said, "I think I saw you today....sexy".

(yea, I still had her # in my phone, I still got numbers that I DON'T call, from like 6 yrs ago. )

So, then, a while later, she txts back and says "who is this"

So, I was gonna post a topic and see if you guys had any opinions on how I could play this up a bit to have some fun.

Before I could post it, she calls me, FROM A DIFF #, DIFF area code, and I answered.

I didn't really know what to say. LOL.

I fumbled my words, told her I met her there once, and thought I saw her. She isn't there anymore, and is in school in a diff county away a little bit.

So, that kinda sucked. She still didn't really figure out who I am cause I couldn't really talk talk as I'm at work.

Anyway I can still talk to this chic or at least mess with her a bit? Not scary, but like, intrique her?, cause I don't think she even remembers me yet (getting her # and all).

Thanks for the thought.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Sounds a bit stalkerish. Doubt any good will ever come out of this. Cut all ties and leave it alone. Stop expending worthless energy.

Any other comments?

Maybe my action was prompted by finding out today that my ex gf is about to move out of state and in with a guy.

It doesn't make it ok, and it shouldn't matter, but nontheless, it is what it is.

I never fancied myself a stalker, LOL, ridiculous.

first format your f*cking post better. all those single lines make it hard to read.

second, your asking us if you should spend time trying to get some woman you met years ago, who is now in some other country, interested in you?

get your head out of your *ss dude. get out there and get yourself a REAL girl. start hitting on REAL women who you can actually take home and f*ck.

it is a total waste of your time playing some txt msg game with some chic in some other country who doesn't even remember you. i mean, wtf is going when 27 year olds are acting like 13 year old girls?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Its a sad day is what it is.

I'll try to format better.

BTW, I said COUNTY, not COUNTRY. She's like 40 minutes away, but diff area code.

haha, well thats different then!

man i hate it when I over react and then it turns out its my fault for reading something incorrectly!

anyway, my advice still holds. focus on chics face to face. or if you're going to keep txt her then quickly remind her who you are and cut to the chase of meeting up face to face.
