"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Hey all

I just got out of a 2 years relationship early this year, and i have been doing well for myself!! I have seriously lost count of the amount of girls, even their names for that matter!

My problem is not a confidence issue etc, but more im getting over picking up!!!

I usually go out Fri/Sat nights and pick up the woman, and contact is usually lost or i dont bother chasing after that!!

The last few times I've gone out i didnt feel the need to pick up and really wasnt interested, but just wanted to have a good time with my mates etc.

Am i stuck in a hole or something?? And im not gay far from it!!!!

thanks

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I think it is more a matter of motivation. For me on some days I actually have almost no interest in messing with women, but these are often the best days for you because you don't have to FAKE zero interest, you have zero interest. Sometimes a man just doesn't want to fu-ck with anyone, and that is ok, but when you're in the zone and macking like a maniac, you more than make up for it.

You mention that you "don't bother chasing after that [contact]" so I think you also need to rethink your game. Walking away when you have a girl who isn't interested is one thing, but walking away really early on because you didn't even try is another thing entirely. Some guys take it too far and continually quit early because a woman offers a little resistance or doesn't jump on them with 100% interest. This is a mistake. I believe that yes, you have to treat them like you could care less what happens, but you can't be completely passive or nothing will happen at all. Not taking any action at all is just as bad as trying too hard... you have to be somewhere in between.

You have the right attitude, you just have to change your plan of action. I do understand your occasional disinterest in playing games with women... it gets old sometimes.
