"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

hey ss...i need some quick advive. im going out of town for the weekend and am wonder if i should tell the girl im seeing or not or wait untill she calls or texts. Shes sort of done this to me before except making plans to go to a party and didnt saything until i asked then she got mad. But she has been kinda distant and a ***** the las couple of days but she says its due to stress at work. But she did go out the other night and sort of blow me off. found her drunk passing out in her car in her drive way. but anyway any advice> tell her now or wait untill she asks? she will prolly get pissed if i dont say and will be just a little pissed if i do. But she has plans this saturday any way.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

She sounds like a low quality woman, don't get emotionally attached to her.

If you aren't emotionally attached to her, you owe her nothing, ergo, don't tell her.

On a side-note, drop that *****
yeh...we both are emotionally invested i guess. Weve been seeing eachother for two years. but she seems to have a double standard but not see it. Its ok for her to go do what she wants when she wants and dont question her or you will be *****ed at, but if you dont communicate oh hell. But the relationship seems to be on her terms honestly. when it first started it was on mine now its on hers and everything is about her.

I think I congratulated you on trying to save this one in your other post, but now I'm getting the impression that she needs a wake up call. Saying her work is stressful is no excuse for giving you the sh!ts.

I'd think about just leaving for the weekend and not telling her. She may not even notice.
Even if she does, just come back at her and say "I didn't think it would bother you. You're too busy being angry about work to even pretend to be interested in what I'm doing!"

I know, this will cause a fight, but if you want to bring things to a head, this is one way to do it.

Good luck!
