"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

the times when you kick youself for not getting the number

I was fliriting with a woman this week at her job, and i chickened out. We I got home, i realized that i was a dumb a$$ and i should have at least tried for a ###

Its to late now, but i was thinking -- what if i had called her office later in the day, to ask her out. I would have had to leave a message on her machine, and she would have known that i was too scared to ask in person.

If a woman's interested, she'll overlook these "lost opportunities" and wait a reasonable amount of time for you to finally show up. It's not one of those "one shot, one kill" deals. Girls aren't robots, where the slightest f-up on your part will automatically and irreversibly erase you or any hopes of dating you from their memory banks.
