Just swicth your attire.It's hard for tall guys to gain weight like whoa.Urban look doesn't look good on you.

Nah, if you have a thin bone structure like our man does here, even a little muscle can give the impression that you're heavier than you are. I know a 27 year old Chinese guy, about 5'10", who looks to be about 210 pounds of shredded muscle, but he's only 170. That he routinely does massive sets of many reps of 225 pound benches probably adds to that effect, but you get the point. He's just a very massively built guy over a small, slender frame (been working out for ver 10 years).

Having fake personality don't work...
How do you know?
Are you sure?

Having a fake personality is infinitely better than having a sh1tty personality.

Would you prefer to be perfectly depressed, with no chinks in your armor. Or would you prefer to fake like you were fun and exciting to be around, and not quite pull it off all the time, but be able to pull it off at least some of the time.

Just fake being happy. For instance as has been mentioned here before, if you're feeling unhappy or sad, then just pretend like you're happy and excited. Stand like you're excited. Move like you're excited, breath like you're excited. Now while doing that act depressed. You can't do it. Not without changing your body language and mannerisms.

The point is, you can be whoever you want to be however you want to be if you want to be it badly enough. And if you fake it long enough, eventually you will be whatever you are faking.

Take those limiting ideas out of your head, and realize that the world is your oyster. Time to dive for that pearl.

HTH,

M

No. Only on things like Fashion,Freinds/Family...and that's not that they have a better opinion it's that they care more about these issues.

I'd perfer my own opinion on my freind's council.I like hearing other people's opinion too.

asking a chick in a clothing store for advice

alright break it down honestly

you are asking A SALESPERSON what to buy ?

haha.... just hand them all the money out of your wallet and pick the clothes that they haven't been able to sell or the stock that was ordered wrong :D

oh and ask them what percentage of their wage is commission based after you let them rape you :D

To follow up regarding style: I agree with Lost In Translation regarding the Chow Yun-Fat look. His style in the Replacement Killers is just classy and cool, while still being bad ass.

So I think the whole "Asian Mafia" type look might be something for you to go for. Getting advice from the female clerks is a good idea until you develop you own sense of style like The Realnezz has going on.

But again, clothes and style will only get you so far if you don't have the right attitude. I think all the positive feedback and help you have gotten in this forum should be enough for you to get out of your sad and lonely funk.

There is one hell of an Asian Pimp waiting to break out of you man, so get to work and let him get his groove on.

Agreed,you have to know your limits and what you can pull off.I used to be into designer stuff but none of it looked right on me an it was too expensive that "Urban" look is hella gay IMHO.

I just stuck with Polo's and loose-fit jeans and low-top throw-back sneakers.I don't go to Waspy-places so i don't really dress up like that either.

I think that look would go well for our freind here till eh figures out his own thing.

Style,look is very important as long as you don't obsess over it.If a chic is attracted to you a good portion of the game is a wrap.Now,if you could tell us your apporach style,etc..we can re-build you..faster,stronger.......................

yeah but at the end of the day they got bills to pay and their opinion could be biased. i have known women in sales who would sell their children.

why not just take a female wingman in with you for advice ?

:D

lol,bruh:D

First off I said asking for Female advise is dumb.But i doubt his freinds are too keen of fashion either and obviosuly he wants a second opinion..he won't come on-line after every shopping session.Lost..:D If I were in his shoes i'd scour for an objective female's advise but that sounds un-likley.

He should walk up to a female -clerk and break it down for them.It's not like he's gonna give her a bag of cash and tell her to go crazy,man.He has a brain!!

yes he sounds like he has his head screwed on right.

but there are some dudes on this site that would empty their wallets just cause a sales ho bats an eyelids for sure.

just look at their "how much would you spend on a ho on the first date polls" lol

i still think if he dresses like Chow Yun-Fat and acts like Chow Yun-Fat ie. an asian DJ he will be beating them off with a stick :D

I suggest asking a female friend or maybe a similarly aged female relative to go shopping with.

The cute girl next door takes me shopping and picks out most of my clothes :)

4. Drop the "sideways hat with ice" look. Click on "search" and type in "clothes" or "style." That should help."

I agree. A side ways hat to me means I shouldn't take you seriously. It shouts that your a jack off or a clown.

You want women to respect you not laugh at you.

No we will not "bear with" whining. It has no place here. The second you start "whining" you are pretty much admitting being beaten. We'll help you find the information you've been looking for, starting with the DJ Bible (link above) and there on out anything you might need. We will NOT accommodate you whining. If you want people to validate your feelings of inadequacy, there are plenty of girl-driven relationship forums for that.

Does guys have to do the pick ups? because I have tried that SEVERAL times, I'd say about 70% rejections and I am giving up... now a days if a girl rejects me, I walk away nicely knowing that "I knew she would say that"
Again, your attitude sucks. If you go up to a girl thinking, "I know she's gonna blow me off," you'll do little subconscious things to sabotage yourself.

the main thing I have to focus on right now is

1) job - to pay for the following
-> clothes
-> my own place
-> a used car

2) applying for Art Institute for Jan. 2005

then its onto the ladies ;)

although I can't stop thinking about them :(

Hey man, I know it can be hard in this modern world to find time for everything, but don't fall into the trap I did. That was being so focused on school and work that I just never got my romantic life handled, until now. Luckily I'm only 27, but if I had started this stuff at your age I could have had a whole lot more fun by now. Heck, maybe I'd be married to an awesome woman.

So, find time to get this part of your life handled. Do you watch a lot of TV? How about browsing the internet for porn and wacking off? Playing video games?

If you take all the time you spend doing that crap and focus on getting better with women, the rewards will far outweigh any of the "costs." Seriously man, don't let time slip away from you, or you will regret it.

You've got a quitter attitude you gotta lose. It's obvious from the fact that you quit trying to build muscle mass after two months of not seeing much results. Dude.......two months....wtf?
