Back to the subject at hand without writing a novel, I went on a brisk 25 mile ride yesterday through the city completely strapped with heart rate monitor, speedometer, power meter, caloric calculator, the works. Giving the stopping and starting at stop lights and such, it took an hour and fifteen minutes with an 18MPH average with a top speed of 31MPH and burned 1243 calories.

Yes, it's about the energy expended; as for time spent, distance, effort and such road cycling rips apart running. Now don't get me started on what mountain biking does for 'ya!

Riding ur bike is much better for u, you have to do more work but it's worth it. If you weigh more than 160 running long distance will put too much strain on ur legs and will lead to joint problems like my uncle. Running short like 1-3 miles maybe just during the summer is fine but more than 5 isn't good. Running long distance also kills ur muscle and fat at the same time so if u want to get in shape do CARDIO like swimming.

That's what I'm saying.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
